Great product
I bought these to protect my expensive red bottom shoes. Needless to say, I wasn’t disappointed with them. I’ve worn my Christian Louboutins several times on pavement, tile, and carpet with absolutely no issues. These are not smooth on the bottom so they actually give the shoes more grip, especially on polished floors. They were easy to remove and did not damage my shoes at all. These sole protectors were a great idea and I definitely recommend them if you want to protect any expensive shoes.

If you can put a screen protector on your phone, you got this.
If you can put a screen protector on your phone, you got this. I was terrified to death that I was going to mess this up. But it is exactly as a title says. As I was beginning to apply the first one, I realize that it’s not different from applying the screen protector to your phone. Don’t pull off the entire paper back like the instructions says to do. instead, pull off a little bit at a time, maybe even just an inch at a time. Press as you go along and spray it with a quick shot of heat from your hair dryer and then move onto the next inch. Definitely make sure to cut past the trace of your shoe. It really does help to be able to pull up and protect the edges. I noticed that you really need a sharp and small scissor to cut away the excess. I had a very sharp 2 inch sewing scissor. Attaching my first attempt and my second attempt. In the first attempt, I had taking their advice and pulled off the entire paper backing almost and then resulted in lots of air bubbles which I pricked with a needle per the directions. On the second attempt, you can see that there’s almost no air bubbles because I pulled an inch away at a time as I was pressing and heating the plastic. I’ve highlighted the “excess” it cut. As you are blow drying it also, the plastic begins to really hard in and get thick. Which is a good thing.

Great
Like it a lot. Great bottom grip. Very sticky. The protector is very thick so i can tell my soles will definitely be protected. Trace and cut slightly bigger so you can trim it to the perfect fit after you stick it on. I will be purchasing this product for the rest of my louboutins.

An excellent solution!
These went on a pair of my wife's Valentino Rockstud heels. She was super picky about what to do to prevent slippage and protect the soles as they are literally a $1000 pair of shoes. Our local cobbler wanted $50 to add protective soles - sure, a price that is acceptable given the price of the shoes, but the shoe's sole curves up slightly and what the cobbler would add would impact the aesthetics. Nothing I'd care about for a pair of my tactical or work boots, but something important to a lady trying to look her best on a special night out. These ShoeSkins are relatively inexpensive, are simple to work with, easy instructions for application and I was able to cut just the right shape to keep them hidden from the side. My wife strutted elegantly on our night out and they worked like a charm. Buy with confidence!

Good enough I think
I started to peel one back a bit and it was super stuck so I stopped. These are my first Loubs so I was super apprehensive to stick things to them but I know the alternative is far scarier. My only complaint is that the edges of the cutouts have a slim super stuck little white edge from cutting the paper. Really annoying to see little white paper spots at the edges of the sticker on the sides of the heel. I tried to get it off but whatever I’m just anal. Waiting to see how these hold up. 🤞

Do not put on suede bottomed shoes!
I got these hoping to add grip to the bottom of a pair of heels that have a faux suede type bottom, and thank goodness I only tried a small snippet to see how it would work before I did the entire sole. It stuck well, too well, that it pealed the suede off my shoe! And now there’s fuzzy suede stuck to the adhesive of the smal piece I tested rendering it completely useless. I imagine it would work wonderfully for rubber or other smooth surfaced shoes, just won’t work for what I was looking for. Will be returning. Also had a pretty strong smell, like new shoe smell but x10

Fabulous Shoe Skins
This is the second type of product that I’ve purchased and I must say that I was pleasantly surprised. Not only were they much easier to apply and remove than the previous product, but they also last much longer. They were slightly larger than the other sole protectors so they covered the entire bottom and didn’t leave any gaps that could get scuffed. I can’t wait to purchase another pair for my other shoes.

Christian Louboutin So Kate Size 5.5
It is clear but has some grip to it so it's slip resistant and is a little rough but overall great.I put them on my Louboutin's So Kate and they fit nice! I am a 5.5 so it does fit. The think is you might have to trace it as if it were a diamond, if that makes sense. When you put them on make sure to leave a little tiny extra so they don't peel off easy and when they are stuck on use a blow dryer on medium to heat up the glue a bit and adjust the edges that might me a bit stiff. They are fairly simple to put on just takes a little patience for the cutting part.
