Super good deal compared to the $65 Samsung one. I recommend this for Note 4 and Note 10.1" 2014 edition.I had an older MHL v2 adapter that wouldn't work with my devices. I think I just needed a v3 adapter, and this one worked great. I can now sit back on my couch and play Hill Climb Racing 2 🏁 (using PS3 gamepad and root with Sixaxis app that emulates touches).Image quality is good. Audio isn't output on my tablet, but it is on my Note4. Sound still comes out of the tablet speakers, and you can just plug in an audio cable to your sound bar or Bluetooth speaker, etc. I think the custom rom on my tablet specifically said miracast and MHL didn't work, so I'm glad the MHL video works.Setup was easy. With TV on, I just plug it in and it mirrors the display @ 1080p. It adds black bars on the sides perfectly on my tablet with its 16:10 aspect 2560x1600. Note4 fills the screen perfectly though.Now time to go race!

Initially out of the box it worked great the first time and I was thrilled to be able to hook my note 4 to a spare monitor I had laying around.Wished to watch TV/Movies on screened in porch at night.Everything was fine but when I went to use the second time no signal was received by the monitor. Tried changing cords, unplugging/powering down etc. NOTHINGUsed the monitor on other devices without adapter and it was fine.Then tried using adapter and hooking note 4 to my TV. No go with thatTried again with different cords etc. and didn't workDon't know what to say other than for me first time use was golden -- after that no go.Am returning and giving up as I can't seem to find any other adapter that has good reviews

I read the reviews to connect everything in a certain order, which I did the first time, and it worked beautifully. Each time afterwards, it didn't matter what was connected in which order, it still worked...until a week ago. I was streaming from my Samsung Galaxy Note Pro with no issues, as usual, then I unplugged the tablet for a few hours. After I reattached it, it would no longer connect. I tried disconnecting everything and connecting in the order given in the reviews, but nothing. Waited a week and tried again, still nothing. Replaced the power cord. Nope. Plugged into different outlet - still nothing.Worked for about a month of weekend use only. Now, I'm off to buy a different brand.Do not recommend.

I don't usually write reviews and I expected a struggle, but follow instructions in other posts about sequence to plug this thing in and it works like a charm. Don't expect your phone to get charged at the same time so start with a full battery (the only reason for four stars).

I have an Lg tribute dynasty that takes a micro-usb which is exactly what the item description claimed it was. This product is NOT a micro-usb. I know micro-usb to hdmi cables do exist but I have been having a REALLY hard time finding them anywhere. Thought I finally found what I wanted with this product but nope! Doesn't work because it isn't what it claimed to be.

I used this with a Galaxy Tab S and once I added the charging cable, it worked perfectly.

After 4 different adapters (from 4 different manufacturers), this one finally worked! I have an sph-l720t (Samsung galaxy s4) and this one worked right out of the box!Tip to future buyers: connect the charger, connect the hdmi cable, then connect it to the phone. Then power on the tv. If I do it out of sequence it does not work.

Product worked flawlessly on my Tab S2 10" I use it primarily with Ride Social to project ride onto my Fire TV. Works better than wireless Mirroring as it does not use up any bandwidth. Picture quality is great.
