Excellent Backup
These are great for the price! Very lightweight. They just need a better drawstring to tighten them. The loop often falls off on one side and nearly drops these on the floor. Great deal to have a backup pair!

For the price, these loupes are pretty darn good.
I've owned many pairs of loupes through my time, I have given some old expensive adjustable pairs to my wife, a friend here or there, I have mostly custom fit non adjustable pairs now, three different magnifications at work, and really have no complaints from those very expensive, but necessary pieces of equipment. So when I saw these, and the price, with the decent reviews, well, I just wanted to try them, just to use for electronics soldering and such. When I got them, I opened them in front of a few colleagues, and we all tried them on with amazement at how well the vision was.....for this price. Next thing you know, they are getting the link, and likely have friends and family in mind for gifts, and possible cheap back ups. I would have to say, in a pinch, these loupes would do very well in a clinical situation with an attached light. They would more than pay for themselves in a day if your primary magnifiers had a malfunction, or got lost. Would they hold up to day in day out wear and tear, not sure, are the lenses glass or plastic? Not sure. But the clarity was shocking, and the focal length is pretty spot on for me, as well as those who tried them on. For the price I paid for these, I'm pretty impressed.

Quality & price
I work in 2 offices as a hygienist and needed a second pair of loops without the price tag. You have to play with it to get it right for you, it takes a minute to adjust to your liking. For this price I'm getting an extra one.

not what I was hoping for
They look well made, priced rioght and very close to what my dentists uses. However, I still have to work at an arms length. And that introduces precision issues. I should have paid more attention to the specified focal length. I will look for another pair with a shorter focal length.

Worked great for painting miniatures
Bought these to help my aging eyes to paint table top wargaming miniatures with the hopes they would save me form giving up on one of my hobbies and they did.I tried different types of magnifying devices to help but didnt help due to poor depth perception while using them. These solved that problem not only was I able to see better detail I was actually able to paint 15mm minis with some good detail.

Great for tired eyes.
I've always loved fixing things, but at a certain age your eyes just can't focus. Not even with prescription glasses for very close distances. Enter these loupes. Now I'm back at soldering electronics and fixing my glasses as when I was younger and didn't need glasses.

Not a good short term solution for dental loupes
Bought these to use while my loupes are being shipped back and repaired (for an undisclosed amount of time). They are actually a nice product, but not a good solution for dental loupes. Realllyyyy short working distance. Not ideal for the dental setting, but maybe good for someone who was into crafts or other hobbies that they could use loupes for. These would compromise your ergonomics much more than just going without loupes temporarily.

Honestly, not bad!
First year dental student, trying to figure out the type of magnification I want to get used to. I don't think these are the ideal magnification for me, I definitely want more, but for what it's worth these aren't bad! I feel as if I can use these when my higher, more expensive, TTL mag loupes are too much for a simple procedure like cleanings. The case is now hardshell which is nice, and they give you a kit to convert the loupes to clip on's if you'd like to be able to take the loupes on and off. The glasses fit well on my head, I don't really need the band on the back, but it is nice. The optics seem clearer than some other brands I've tried on, and are so much cheaper.Adjusting the loupes to fit my eyes took maybe 5-10 min. They're not "perfect" and don't fit my eyes as they aren't custom, but boy fo they get close. Working distance seems adequate for me as well. But seriously, for $30, these are not bad at all! I was thoroughly surprised. Will be keeping these on standby for when I need them.
