Woooow am I impressed! Especially for the price point, this thing is amazing.This picture was after a very hot yoga class with my hair tied up!I was using a different straightener but realized one this style would probably curl my hair better. I love that knob to change temperature and 360 turning.My last straightener was pulling my hair out. Turns out, not every straightener does!! Curls great and with someone who has long, thick hair, I appreciate how long this iron is. It’s also super light weight.My hair looks great, very shiny. Truly so happy with my purchase!

Wow! I am impressed. Heats up super fast within seconds. I have super curly and thick thick hair it didn’t pull it at all. It slides through my hair like butter. And makes it shine. I was happy I didn’t have to go over the same piece of hair five times. I can do my hair in half the time it took me before.BUY IT !! You won’t regret it.

I’ve been waiting for 6 months to write a review. This hair straightener is by far the best hair straightener that I have owned. It straightens my hair in less than 15 minutes, and for someone that has very wavy frizzy hair this is a Godsend! I would highly recommend for hard to tame hair!

This is the best flat iron I’ve ever owned! Heats up fast and keeps hair pin straight all day long. It doesn’t snag or pull hair! I’ve owned a lot of high end flat irons over the past 20 years and this one is the best! Definitely recommend!

I'm giving this flat iron a well-deserved 10 out of 10 it's a total game-changer! I used to shell out $90 every time I wanted to get my hair straightened at the Dominican salon, but now I can achieve the same look at home and save some serious cash. Plus, it's a lifesaver for my blended family; it works like magic on all our different hair textures. This flat iron is truly amazing, and I highly recommend it 100%!

Little back story I purchased the original GHD flat iron. After tax it was close to $200. A few days later I purchased this one after seeing that it really is highly rated out of so many reviews. I needed to give this one a try to hopefully save myself some money. I’m glad I gave this one a try because I am currently in the process of returning the GHD. I truly cannot justify paying $200 (almost) vs this $50 one. They truly are EXTREMELY similar in results (at least for my hair), both beep, both heat up super fast. I do think the GHD gets my hair a little more pin straight like I would prefer. It’s very lightweight and small (but straightens my hair so fast!) compared to this hot tools flat iron. I am sad to return it but the price is what’s getting me. It’s very cheap feeling because it is so lightweight. If it was $100 I probably could have justified keeping that one and returning this one because I really do love how straight it gets my hair, but again it’s waaayyyy too expensive. I would love to repurchase the GHD one again someday if this one doesn’t end up holding up as long. I’ve noticed this one does straighten my hair good by gives a lot of static kickback. Not sure why that is. The few times I did use the GHD I didn’t have any static to my hair at all. This hot tools one also can leave a crease in your hair if your not quick enough sliding the plate down. I didn’t get that at alll with the GHD so I will definitely have to learn to work quicker. Using the Kenra blow dry thermal heat protectant spray is chefs kiss along with either flat iron (hot tools/GHD). Esp if you spray a little on your hand and rub your hair after it helps with the static from this hot tools one and makes the hair so soft with either flat iron. If I ever find a really good deal/gently used priced GHD I will be extremely tempted to purchase it and put this hot tools one on the back burner. It’s worth $50. But you get what you pay for. It’s not perfect and there is better out there just sucks the better can feel/look cheaper but be way more expensive….giving it 4 stars because I’m 90% sold, my heart will miss the GHD 100%….Pro’s: affordable, long plates (1 1/4), beeps when ready, heats up very quickly, has multiple heat settings, has a locking clamp feature..Con’s: large/long flat iron (compared to GHD Orig.), heavier (than GHD Orig.), causing static in my hair, not as pin straight (compared to GHD Orig.) doesn’t give that great of curls coming from a flat iron…

Hair professional of 10 years and have always used hot tools! This iron is smooth as butter! No hair pulling! so helps reduce hair breakage. If you are also like me and love curling hair with a straighter it’s produces the best beach curls

I really went back & forth with whether to even buy a new flat iron, as I’ve had my Babyliss Pro Nano Titanium one for about 5 years and it still works okay but I felt like it was wearing down.After receiving an Amazon GC for Christmas, I decided I’d go ahead and buy a new one & was willing to spend up to $200, as I use a flat iron almost daily. I did some research, tried a couple of other popular flat irons from reputable brands that a friend of mine had, but wasn’t impressed enough to buy the ones I tried.My hair is VERY thick, relatively long (I recently had 4” trimmed off), and I’d say dry-normal. I almost ordered another Babyliss but truthfully, I wanted to spend less (plus I’m always open to new ideas). For my particular hair type, I knew I needed something with high heat and titanium plates. I understand that this is titanium-ceramic but I’ve seen so many amazing, positive reviews that I was willing to take a gamble… especially for the price.I am VERY IMPRESSED & I don’t typically write reviews for many of the Amazon purchases I make, let alone give 5 stars (I do believe there is always room for improvement but I truly do not believe that there is much room for improvement here!!). If you knew me, I always do look at the positives, but I also am not the type to rave so much about something unless I am THAT impressed.That said, I included a couple of photos that depict what my hair normally looks like after having it up in a ponytail or bun (see pics from restaurant in France & in front of the Eiffel Tower).Buy this! You will not be disappointed.
