These LED replacement parking lights for my 2012 Prius came in the plastic bag shown in Picture 1. I was very surprised that the package included the detailed installation instructions for my exact year of Prius (bottom of picture 1), and I do not know if this was coincidence or customer-specific set of instructions, but it was nice to have. Installation took less than 10 minutes, but it can take longer if your first try gets the polarity wrong and you have to remove it, take out the bulb from the socket, turn it 180 degrees, reinsert it into the bulb socket, and reinsert the socket into the headlight assembly. Picture 2 has the original incandescent bulb on the left headlight assembly and this LED bulb on the right. Picture 3 is a close-up of the original OEM incandescent bulb, and picture 4 is a close-up of this LED bulb. This bulb is somewhat brighter and has a distinctly more bluish-white color cast than the incandescent bulb, which is fine with me. The longevity of this bulb is unknown--the other LED bulbs I have used as parking lights in the headlight assembly of my Prius have burnt out after about 1 year each, on the average, so I am hoping that this bulb will last longer. These LED lights are bright and will replace your bulb lights (mine 2011 Prius) with no issue at all. The driver-side bulb is relatively easy to remove from the headlight housing as there is enough space to maneuver your hand and twist the bulb for removal. The passenger-side bulb, however is a bit harder because there is a coolant reservoir and some hose that restrict access to the bulb to apply the necessary twisting force for removal. It can be done. Just take your time. TIP: make sure you test that they light up before you painstakingly put them back in the lamp housing only to find that they don’t . The polarity matters for these bulbs. If it doesn’t light up, then flip it. Also the led can shift from contacts in the wiring during reinserting and not light up. So be gentle when reinserting them. The LED lamps are bright and cooler in hue. It matches my LED low beam headlights perfectly.I would recommend them.Here are some things that I am uncertain about. The led lamps are visible through the headlamp housing and you can see the yellow LEDs (see picture). The LEDs can shift when inserted into the slot of the wire harness. I hope it doesn’t shift out and go off when hitting a ditch or bump. They should make that portion a bit thicker like the OEM bulbs. Lastly, when these lights are turned on you hear a whirring noise (kinda like fan noise) under the hood. You won’t hear it when the hood is closed and you’re driving. I’m not sure if this is ok, I’m just noting it for your information.Overall, it’s a decent plug-n-use replacement.

It came early than expected. The light was a clear led instead of a soft yellow one, but that's alright. The product was exactly what we needed.

Got these for my 2015 Prius parking lights. They fit perfectly and are so bright. Highly recommend!
