I've tried lots of products to cover roots between salon visits. I've tried powders and other sprays. This is by far the best product. I have my hair dyed blonde and I purchased the dark blonde and it covers my gray and gives me a natural dark blonde root color. I won't have to go to the salon as often. Great product.

I like it...but I think the dark blonde is too dark. I was looking at the color chart and my dark blonde does not look like that shade.It is a medium brown. The bottle says dark blonde but I even sprayed some on my wrist to get an idea of the color, so I will add a photoif someone can tell me if this is the correct shade for dark blonde.

My hair is just starting to go grey. I am not ready to start the 6-week routine of coloring my hair that my Coworkers do. I have never dyed my hair before so I am a little hesitant to start and look so drastically different. This product seems to be just what I need - for now. I put it in to cover a few grey hairs at the top of my head. It seemed to stay in for several days even after washing my hair. By a week later, it was definitely all gone. My hair is medium brown. I ordered the dark blonde shade and it matched perfectly. Because this is a spot application thing, I think it is better to go lighter so you won't notice the application areas. I am not sure it is necessary, but I wore plastic gloves to work it onto my grey hairs since they are longer than just the roots. You apply this product to dry hair & it says to let it dry for at least 5 minutes. It seems to stay in nicely and does not run in the rain. It is nice to feel pretty again.One more thing I wanted to share. A wise friend taught me not to pluck gray hairs. She said it is better to cut them short instead. The reasoning is that when you are old, with thinning gray hair, you will be happy to have every last hair. If you plucked them out when you were younger, it may damage the root and they may never grow back. My friend said that your old self will thank your younger self.
