Obsolescence built in / help destroy the planet
This lamps battery is unreplaceable and has a built in nonsense of obsolescence. it was not cheap and FLOS are despicable in creating such a product without highlighting this problem on the front page . I am well p***ed orf.

Wont recharge
Lovely lamp, feels solid, provides a lovely illumination. Cant fault the design. It worked for a year with occasional use. Now it wont recharge, its not the charger as that still charges a phone. No way to fix it. No help from Flos on their website. A £200 lamp goes into land fill. Thanks Flos.

Utterly disappointing battery life
After few weeks the battery life went down 50%. It takes 3 hours to charge and it will last one evening.Even more unacceptable is the fact that the battery can’t be replaced, so once is deteriorates the whole lamp goes into the bin. How environmental is that?

Battery dead after 2 years – Flos won’t fix
After just over 2 years of normal use, my Flos Bellhop lamp stopped recharging. I tried with replacement plugs and cables but it seems like the battery has died.Batteries are consumables, so I thought I could just send it in for a service, as you would with a phone, laptop, etc. But when I contacted Flos, they said that the battery is not replaceable and that there are no spare parts for this lamp. So that's it – you just have to chuck it in the bin. This is a truly egregious example of built-in obsolescence and irresponsible design. Bad for the customer and bad for the planet. I won't be buying Flos LED lamps again.
