Best jamón I’ve had in the UK
Very good for the price, I was very pleasantly surprised with this ham. It is the second one I have bought off Amazon (the first one from this brand) and this one was £20 cheaper and so much better. It’s mild but very tasty.I feel like I have to address the fat issue, because some reviews have almost put me off buying it:Pigs have fat and that is what makes them delicious. I find it really funny when I see pictures of absolute carnages claiming the ham was a waste, when you have to be very careful and remove the fat one later at a time.I am not a professional but I have seen my share of hams and this must be the tenth I’ve bought, and it’s easy to waste a lot of product if you don’t know what you’re doing. I would recommend getting three knives, and spending some time watching a video tutorial before wasting half of a perfectly good ham.

Hard, too much fat, too salty, very disappointing
Big fan of serrano, parma, iberico, prosciutto. Get a leg every xmas. This year left it a bit late so ordered via these guys. Looked amazing - packaged superbly, lovely black cloth, gold netting. Was so looking forward to getting tucked in. When I could contain my excitement no more I started trying to cut into it. Used the sharpest knives I had and could barely make any impact. Considere the chain saw at one point. Eventually got to what I suppose could be described as meat - though was so much fat was debateable. Kept telling myself I would get to the good bit soon. Tried both sides. One slightly better than the other - but really, honestly, both really poor. Havent had any soft meat yet. Gave up and went and bought another one elsewhere which was superb in comparison. Honestly really disappointed - thought the other reviews were perhaps being harsh - but seems they are correct. :(

Good jamon
Well dried jamon,nice taste I liked. Its not 100% pata negro,some 50% raza :) but its good ham worth a price! Sorry, I forgot to add.,a lot of fat,really a lot,maybe half or even more fat.,but at least fat and ham delicious. Lucky you if get 2kg of ham,that's 50£ per kg not cheap

Too much fat, too salty and very hard to eat it!!
Vey disappointed with that ham, I thought it was bergan but once I opened I started to eat it it was full of fat and mold , in fact was more fat than meat, the taste looks wired, very strong and the meat was Very hard to eat, I felt like eating chewing gum, I'm having food poisoning,I'm 100% sure it's the ham's fault because APART from the white rice I haven't eaten anything else these days, there is also a big bone in the middle of the ham so that makes very difficult to cut it off,very dissatisfied

Not like we bought in Spain
Arrived with the skin and fat removed unlike the ones we bought in Sapin. We brushed it with olive oil regularly but it remained dry and lacked taste. We wouldn't buy it again sadly.

Good price - much fat
It is the first time I buy a whole ham like this. It is quite impressive and a great party piece. A friend made a support for it, so I could cut it easily. I was however surprised by the huge quantity of fat. If you take off the fat and the bone, you are not left with a large amount of meat. It tasted ok; rather addictive I must admit . Once you've started to cut, you should not wait too many days to eat it all as it does not contain preservatives (thank God!). I think that 10 days is the max - at least for this oneI will buy one again, - maybe from another producer to compare.

So far so good
I quite like the taste of the product is having the fat is supposed to have to bring the nicest flavour and texture. I saw on other comments how people is complaining about it but I don’t think they understand the product (as a Spanish I do) my only disappointment with it is the fact that it says on the description is free range pigs eating freely on the land but is not a mention or information on the product marking this fact that for me is one of the most important things when I choose jamón o paleta. So it makes me hesitate about it this info is true or not. Apart from that the taste is very good
