Significant Scratches in Plexiglass Windshield
I have a Can-Am Spyder motorcycle. I JUST purchased and installed a new windshield that was not an inexpensive upgrade to this bike. As it happened, I large rock hit my plexiglass windshield at about 70mph and caused three major scratches. Distressed of course as this was brand new and then this happened. The new windsheild did its job however, and that is why its on the bike to begin with. I caught a glimpse of the rock and it was about 3 inches wide and hat that hit me, definitely would have caused a significant injury with the force at which it hit. Its has taken some effort, but it this product was quite amazing. The abrasive used is not too harsh so it did not cloud the plexiglass at all. Each time I used it, it wiped off easily and completely and I could see a difference in getting the scratches removed. The scratches are getting removed more and more as I use the product, wipe it off and repeat the process. The area around the scratches is also highly polished and I am thinking that I will use it to take care of even the smallest nick. Have always trusted Mequiars products and this one is no exception, especially for the price. I am VERY picky about that bike and what I use on it. This is a product that I will keep for this appliction. I am a huge fan of 3M products as well and that is my standard for judgement.Quite honestly, the 3M product I used for this application, which is also amazing...just got retired in favor of this product. As well, that rock also hit my fender before slamming into my windshield. Used this same product. Scratches on the fender are gone, like they were never there. Of course, you might want to try a very small area in an inconspiquous place, which you should do with any product that removes scratches, but I would wager you will find this is a fabulous product and will not harm or mar your plastic painted surfaces where the color is mixed in or on your plexiglass/plastics.

The Easiest and Most Effective Cleaner I Have Tried
I have used several different plastic polishes over the years. Most did the job, but the time and elbow grease required varied significantly. I have applied and polished the lenses both my hand, when the housing didn't lend itself to easy access with my buffer, and with the buffer.Cars, in the old days universally had glass sealed beam headlights. Replace the headlight you replaced the lens. For the past 30, or so, years cars have migrated to halogen bulb headlights, HID or most recently LED. Though a few have glass faced housings, most are plastic. These tend to fog and yellow over the years. Since this cuts down the light they emit, and many state's safety inspections will fail them if they get bad enough, you either have to replace them or fix them. Headlight assemblies can cost a small fortune, especially if purchased from the dealer. So, fixing them is an attractive option. There are many polishing kits on the market of varying complexity. But, I find I don't need most of the pads and accessories provided, and you usually get a very small quantity of polishing solution. They also seem costly for what you are getting. So, I choose this route, buy the polish and provide my own accessories. This Meguiar's polish is provided in a generous quantity and performed astonishingly well as compared to others I have used. My wife's Suzuki SX4 headlight housings were getting quite foggy. It literally took me several minutes each side to get them back to 95% of their original clarity using soft paper towels. The electric buffer, had I hauled it out, would have taken a single pass. This bottle will go in my car cleaning and maintenance fluids box I always carry. Because it is so easy and fast to use I will make a point of touching up the various plastic lenses around all of my cars regularly. I am quite satisfied. This polish easily gets five stars.

Worked on one of my cars
This worked great on one car and not so well on the other. It really cleared up the lights on my Honda accord but didn’t seem to do anything to my Pontiac. It might be different plastic or just different reasons why they were cloudy. Very easy to use and worked well on one car.

Worked great on plexiglass
This worked great on the old plexiglass in our 1957 trailer. Didn't get rid of scratches, but definitely made it clear and we can now actually see quite clearly thru the plexiglass window. Very easy to use too.

It works
Stuff works well. Did it make my headlights perfect? No. Will it last forever? Probably no. But for $7, no one should complain about this product. Definitely made the headlights on this car I’m fixing up much nicer.
