This product arrived quickly in new condition. It was a high quality cut of salmon with no bones. It was densely smoked and vacuum sealed with oil. Was well preserved and ready to eat as is. I thin you need to have a tasted for smoked food. Also, you need to have a taste for food packed in oil. To me, it tasted like spicy smoked tuna in oil. The texture was like fish jerky with oil sauce. At first, I was confused because the packed reads 14 grams of protein and 2 oz is a serving with 3 servings per package. The package indicates that one fillet is 3 servings, but I think a normal skinny adult would eat a whole fillet at 6 oz. as a light snack. It actually comes with 3 boxes, each with one fillet. You get a total of 3 fillets of fish, each of slightly different variety. Comes in a cute box. I like that it is ready to eat. You might need to again, have a taste for room temperature canned salmon.

I like the variety of having three types of salmon. It is high quality and good 6oz portions. The moisture level is good and the flavor is awesome. Well done.

All three salmon steaks were good. They were small but more than enough for one person a steak. And I really mean that. The picture, to me, looks like there is enough for at least 2 people per steak choice, which is why I say that they are "small". I heated mine in the oven as it says it is pre-cooked and ready to eat but microwave is not suggested. They had a great aroma as they were being heated. The only issue, if it is an issue, is that at least one was a little too spicy (not spicy hot but seasoning) for me. I can't eat food with a lot of seasoning or any spicy hot sauces. It was delicious. But I paid a huge price for eating it.

This is a great product by SeaBear! The salmon fillets are delicious and versatile for eating as an appetizer, in a salad, sandwich or casserole. Each salmon variety is individually wrapped. I've bought them for my family, as well as given them as gifts, all with great reviews.

I read the reviews before I purchased this product and thought this would be a good tasting smoked salmon. The salmon was dry and had 0 smoke flavor. I don't know how they can even advertise this as smoked salmon. Seemed more like pressure cooked salmon to me. Make sure you have a glass of water with you when you try this product because it is so dry you might get choked up. I have had tuna in a can that tasted better than this salmon. I was not expecting this product to be lox which is very different and much better. The fish was sealed with some water in the packaging but it was still very dry and had no flavor. Don't waste your money on the Sea Bear salmon.The good: My German Shepherd loved it! It is probably the same salmon that comes in the dog food I buy her. The packaging was good. It came vaccum sealed and in nice cardboard boxes. I wish I could tell you how good the salmon was but that would be a bold faced lie. Try a different maybe.

Salmon is delicious but should package in resealable pouch. Would make a BIG difference!!

We have been eating this for a few years and every time we buy it, we get a consistent wonderful product. This is the best smoked salmon we have ever had; at home or in restuarants!
