I was on the fence about these when I bought them, but after using them for a while I'm quite happy. If not for the fact that these will probably last for the rest of my life, I'd definitely buy them again. * My biggest concern with reusable straws was keeping them sanitary; the brush is what really convinced me to buy this, and I haven't been disappointed. It is easy to use and does a great job. * Not having to regularly buy bags of plastic straws is one less thing to worry about. * The size is perfect. They're *slightly* thicker than you might get at a restaurant, but not absurdly thick like those straws for bubble tea. They're long enough for fairly tall cups, but not too long for normal size cups. * I don't taste the metal. * The straws transfer heat well, which is something I hadn't considered before I bought them. Put the straws in a cold drink and they quickly cool down to the same temperature as the drink. I can see this bothering some people, but I find the feeling quite refreshing, and I miss it when I get a straw at a restaurant.

I like that we aren’t going through disposable straws anymore longer. These are easy to clean with the little brush and are sturdy. The one minor drawback if you’re temperature sensitive - these obviously get very cold with frozen smoothies going through them

I bought these stainless steel straws for smoothies and so I can have a drink (hot or cold), while I'm doing facials. (You really can't drink while wearing a sheet mask.)These are well made and they are the right diameter for both smoothies and other drinks. I had been using stainless steel chop sticks for years and thought this would be the next step. I agree with other positive reviewers, this is a well made product and I'm glad it also comes with a brush to clean the interior. I will soak these straws in water with bleach to sterilize them, but it's nice to have the brush that comes with it to eliminate debris.

Very happy with the stainless steel straws, 4 pack with cleaning brush, clean to easy. Would buy them again, I would recommend to a friend.

Already owned the bended version of the metal straw and discovered that we really don't like it that much, just awkward to drink from it for some reason. Hence we ordered this straight one and it just feels much better for us. Sturdy and nice and fairly large, I think it would work for smoothies as well. Came with the handy cleaning brush. I just keep them in my handbag for the occasional lunch out. After watching the video about the turtle that had one of the long plastic ones stuck up in its nose, I really didn't want to use those any more, so this is a great alternative for that. Easy to clean and will last you a lifetime probably... as long as you don't leave it at the restaurant :) Highly recommend it.

I saw that video of the poor Sea Turtle on the News/Internet and immediately felt bad about the 3 to 5 plastic straws I toss out every week. I had to find something reusable just for my peace of mind. I realize straws don't account for much of the plastic waste we generate every year, but this change makes me feel a bit better that I'm not contributing to it.The straw itself is great. Rigid, no added metallic taste, plenty large enough (8mm diameter) to allow for smoothies, shakes, and blended coffee, and even comes with a pipe brush for cleaning. Coupled with some silicone straw tips to keep them from clanging around in my metal cup, it's the perfect combo.
