These are great and catches hundreds of Japanese Beetles. Safe for outdoors with pets and children. Follow directions and order extra bags and change the bag when full to keep catching beetles that eat your roses and leaves on ornamental trees and flowering plants. Don't put it near plants it needs to be about 20 feet away so you don't attract the beetles to your plants because it has a flower smell attractant goes on top of bag so beetles go to it and go inside and can't get out. It does not attract or trap bees or anything only Japanese beetles.

Works well, but also brings in all the beetles in the area. I made the mistake of putting it on my trees, then near my trees. It pulled in all the area beetles, which ate the leaves. Best to keep them at least 20-30 yds from whatever you are trying to save. I have 4 new cherry trees, this in combo with Seven is doing a good job and I'm seeing new growth already.

The first time I used it, I hung it around my flowers that were being RUINED by these beetles. I bet I caught 100 beetles in 24 hrs it was So gross but so effective and saved my flowers.

The Spectracide Japanese beetle lure and bags really takes care of a beetle infestation. The kit comes with two bags, but I usually need more than two for the 3 month season. This year I will use 3, but I have needed up to 5. I always keep a box of replacement bags on hand because they aren’t readily available at my local retailers.

Japanese beetles were chewing up all of my flowers and this little item did the trick. You will be grossed out by how many it will catches.
