Extra Strength Wild Atlantic Fish Oil Enhanced with Green Lipped Mussel (8oz Pump)

(At the time of writing this review, I have gone through almost a complete bottle of this supplement and it's partner supplement - GlycanAid and have just re-ordered both. These were purchased to help with joint pain and weakness caused by arthritis.)OVERVIEWI cannot possibly explain just how thankful I am for these two products. Over the course of about 2 years, I have been through SO many joint supplements for Kobi, my 16 year-old Cockapoo with arthritis and joint weakness, and none of them were ever able to completely relieve his pain/discomfort. He would regularly limp, wobble, get visibly stiff whenever he laid down for a bit and had to get up, and began losing his footing occasionally and would fall over. Even being on other supplements, all of this would happen and it would break my heart. Despite the numerous good reviews for many of the products I tried, none of them worked for him. I had gotten to the point where I felt defeated and like there was no way to completely alleviate his pain and stop the limping. I thought that his arthritis was too severe for supplements to be able to assist with since I had tried so many and to no avail.In my most recent attempt, after scouring for hours (once again) for a new supplement without a bunch of chemicals, I came across an article about TopDog's GlycanAid. It sounded promising (but then again, don't they all?), so I figured it was worth a shot. The man who formulated these is a vet, so his knowledge and experience has to mean something, right? If it works for Kobi, it would be worth it a hundred times over. In the article, they had also mentioned another supplement that is recommended to be used in conjunction with the GycanAid to further help the relief (also made by TopDog): Flexerna. Just this pump bottle alone is $40, so I was extremely hesitant to buy it on top of this supplement, but man, I had tried everything else in the book and nothing worked, so I was desperate to find something, and if that meant spending $80 on the two supplements, then so be it. So I took the plunge and ordered them both.Once it came in, I followed the dosage instructions on both and within 2 weeks maybe (I can't remember the exact time frame), I began seeing a difference. An incredible difference. Kobi does not limp anymore. He's not stiff anymore. He doesn't lose his footing and fall anymore. Nothing. I honestly cannot believe how well these two supplements work - it genuinely makes me emotional. I am so, so happy that my pup is so much more comfortable, mobile, and is significantly more pain-free. After all of my trial and error, I didn't think anything could help. I am so beyond grateful for these products.PROS• (Along with the GlycanAid,) IT ACTUALLY WORKS!!!!• Healthy for your pup; you don't have to worry about any harmful chemicals or bad ingredients going into their systems with these products, unlike the cheaper joint supplements out there.• My pup loves the taste mixed in with his food.CONS• Pretty pricey, but holds true to the saying "you get what you pay for."BOTTOM LINEPlease, if you have a dog with joint issues, stop looking at other products and just buy these two right now. My dog is 9 years old with hip issues. Before this product he was having issues with getting up and around, clicking noises, didn’t have much desire to go outside and play, didn’t really want to do anything. We are now on our second bottle and he is like a new dog. He has energy and desire to go outside and play, and the best part his hips don’t seem to be an issue anymore. No more clicking, no more taking him awhile with much struggle to get up and walk, no more lethargic dog in pain. I will keep him on this forever, great product!

Funny reading that some dogs wouldn't eat their food with this on it. When we finished our first bottle, one of my dogs wouldn't eat his food without it! I would give this five stars, because it's an awesome product (more on that in a sec) but it is terribly expensive for multi-dog situations.I originally bought this for my little hound who was recovering from cruciate surgery. I don't know if it's helped her, but it has helped my other dog enormously. He had scurf issues, gunky eyes, and allergies that affected his feet. This stuff made all of that go away like magic. I realized after he was on this for a couple of weeks that I had not wiped goo out of his eyes for ages, instead of every morning as I had done for years. I guess this helps with allergies. My ACL dog is also doing well. I think it may help her flexibility a bit. I'm not sure. But I can say absolutely that it helps with my other dog's allergies.

My 7-year-old lab has been dealing with arthritis since she was 2. She has been on a prescription med for the last 4 years and it helps but there were still days where she limped a bit. When I first started giving her these pills I noticed she seemed to move more easily and now a year later she acts like she’s a puppy again wanting to jump, run, and play fetch. I keep a tight rein on her so she doesn’t injure herself or wake up the next morning in pain from over exertion but it’s good to see her walking down the hall with a toy in her mouth, her tail wagging, and no limp in sight. I only wish they gave a discount for repeat purchases!

We are very happy with the results we achieved using Flexerna Omega 3 oil on our 3 year old Corgi that tore her ACL. We opted to go with the conservative management route instead of surgery. She is now 7 months post tear, & you can't tell she was ever lame. She is back to her normal routine with her 4 other Corgi Brothers & Sisters that play rough. We did also employ four acupuncture treatments, strict rest, a very high quality raw food diet & GlycoFlex 3. Although the Flexerna probably didn't "heal" her by itself, I think it played a major role. I will keep her on the Flexerna oil, as well as the Glycoflex for the rest of her life.

I think I saw some improvement in my dogs. It’s easy to use, but can be messy. Two of my dogs like it. One dog does not like it.It’s less expensive than some joint supplements.

I have a 11 year old Italian Greyhound and he was having a lot of trouble standing, getting up stairs, and getting up on the sofa and the bed. After four days on this product he was about 50% better. He has been on the product for two months and he is back to normal for a dog of his age. He is able to do everything that he was able to do before.I strongly recommend this product to anyone that is having this problem with their dog. It's a great product. Thanks Top Dog Health.
