Our hematologist recommended these saying he'd tried them himself and the chewable flavor far outranks Flinstones which have a nasty, bitter taste. These are good, or if you want to swallow one every other day, this company has one for that too. We've liked both the chewable and swallowable ones. The chewables are great if you're an adult and want to take it daily so you don't forget.

Eats it like candy
My son and I are both anemic, so this product was a perfect fit for us to take together. We’ve been taking it for several months now, and I can’t say enough good things about it. The taste is amazing - it’s not at all metallic, thanks to the citrus flavor. We usually follow it up with a shot of OJ to help our bodies absorb the iron. And I’ve noticed a big difference in my energy levels and less hair loss.

Does what it's supposed to. It's a little sour tasting.
Pros are they aren't very big pills. I bought these for my 4 year old. He takes 1 or 2 a day recommended by his doctor. The only on is he says it is sour. I have tasted it. It doesn't takes like iron but it does have a sour factor to it and an after taste. He takes it with something to drink so we overcome the sour.

My 2 year old eats them and asks for more!
We tried liquid iron, same brand, and he spit it out - we tried nature made gummy iron and he spit it out (I gagged when I tried the gummy) but this one does a great job hiding the taste! You don’t taste the iron/blood like/metalic taste at all until the after taste and it’s very subtle and gone with a sip of water. My son takes 4 per day for his anemia right now and he happily takes 2 in the AM and 2 in the PM and asks for more. So glad we tried this.
