In a great big rush to have my kiddos be lice free I used it without following the instructions, so without conditioner applied. It still worked so well and cleared a vast majority of eggs and lice. What I like the most about the product is its lifetime warranty and the length of the tines ensuring nothing misses its path.

Excellent at removing both the lice and eggs! Plastic ones do not do the full job. Just remember to wet the hair so that it doesn’t snag. Very sturdy and strong.

No nits found (fortunately) so don’t know whether comb is ineffectual or nits are not present. Comb seems well made and is quite impressive.
