I already had one and bought this one for my father in law. Waterproof - went for 4 hr walk in Scottish Highlands in torrential rain remained waterproof for about 3.5hrs and then got slightly damp.Keeps me very warm

It totally stops the wind whistling round my head. Sealskinz is the only brand I've found that does that. It fits and looks good. Only thing is that now I've had it a few months it looks like it won't last as long as my previous one (which I lost). Even so, I would recommend it.PS. No seals are harmed in the making of this hat!

This hat is definitely warm and waterproof as described. Good quality but a little overpriced.

Generous fit and super warm

Quality as you'd expect but be aware. These seem to come up large in comparison to other brands! Im a large in rab, arc'teryx, fjallraven etc so ordered a large in this but its very big. A medium would have been more than big enoigh. Wore it during storm dennis and no problems apart from size. It doesnt shrink thats for sure!! Have done it in tumble drier a few times trying to shirnk it but no luck which for 99% of people is a good thing!

Warm and size L-XL was ok fit for me , normally L. The hat rustles and crackles , due to the layer within the lining . Not ideal & should have returned but lost the tags .

Good value and prefect for what I wanted

Warm, dry but crinkly sound a tad annoying. It is essentially two thin beanie heads with a plastic cap between the two. Sounds a bit like a baby’s enrichment toy when you wear it. But it is warm, rainproof and, most importantly for me, windproof so great to keep your head warm.

I like that you could fold the hat and put it into your pocket or purse.

I commute to work by bicycle and this is great in very cold weather. Not just for being waterproof, but also for it being windproof.

Hard to find a large fitting warm hat. This was it.

Almost perfect! Fits perfect! warm and dry! In cold rain, would be nice to have a slight bill in the front. I have a Carhartt knit hat with a 3" bill but is not waterproof. Just sayin...
