Canada Green Grass Lawn Seed - Grows Healthy Rich Green Grass Lawn Seed Plants Yard Garden 12 Pound Bag

This grass seed is totally Awesome. We live in West Texas. HOT, Windy, Sand, Stickers, and Weeds! Tried all kinds of other grass seed with no results. The $ we put out for nothing is really sickening. We have a little over an acre of sand stickers and weeds. We started with tilling up the ground raked all the weeds added fertilizer worked the ground to plant the other grass seed didn't get anything. Got this seed and did exactly what the instructions said to do. And I was totally surprised when before the 14 days it said it would take, I had grass everywhere. And it is still growing and it is nice and green and thick. Did have some sticker weeds come up while the grass was first coming in and the grass is actually choking them out. I'm so happy! I have the best yard on the block. Have to say it was the easiest part of making my yard as beautiful as it is. Will definitely be getting more so I can finish the rest of the yard.

I liked how quickly it grew and seems to be holding up in our dog park, Spring early Summer.Currently in December, 2024 the grass is totally gone again in the higher traffic area. Very disappointed it did not hold up.

I live in the New England area. So winters can be harsh. This is a good grass seed that did hold up well with minor maintenance. It grew better than the Scott's seed I tried prior with better coverage almost everywhere.The only spot where this seed was defeated also is in a shady spot in my rear yard. It did sprout and grow and showed promise but as spring progressed and the trees overhead became more leafy and thus shadier, the grass died off.Where it did get sunlight though, it grew very dense and healthy, more so than the Scott's did which grew slower and not as lush.

After and before pictures. You have to make sure you use a tiler and put the seed down and come back again with a light tiler to cover the seed. This is the result of 1 1/2 months. Water once a day.

Although this grass seed advertised grows any where it is not a grass that grows well in central Texas. I speed the whole bag first time around we barely had any grass come up at all and it died shortly after it grew.I requested a refund but instead ended up with another bag of seed…I held off planting hoping to get the grass to fill I over the fall to winter months. Same as the first bag, a small portion of the seeds came up and are now dying rapidly. I would not recommend this product to anyone ever. It’s a waste of time and money

It grows fast and comes back the next year even thicker. Worth the money

After buying 5 pounds of Patch Perfect grass seed, which was a total waste of money as it was truly a dud.I BELIEVE THE SEED WAS TOO OLD AND WOULD NOT GERMINATE. IT WAS NOT BOUGHT AT AMAZON.I was somewhat reluctant to make the purchase of 12 pounds of Canada Green Grass Seed. The seed was fresh and we planted two areas. We used a spreader to scatter the seed and then raked the seed through the existing weeds and grass so it would fall down to the ground as much as possible. After spreading and raking we watered lightly and the next day we got several hours of soaking rain. We timed the plantings with the on-coming rain and now we have the greenest lawn in the neighborhood. The roots are long and strong. We even had it growing on top of cement based pilings in the ground. We planted in December 2009 and March 2010. So far, it is growing very well in Central Florida and the weeds are being choked out with the second planting. I've recommended this seed to several of my neighbors and friends. The 12 pounds was the most economical investment for our needs.IT TRULY IS....AS ADVERTISED!!!!

It's been almost 3 weeks and still waiting for grass to come up. The ad indicated 5-7 days. It was planted exactly as the sparse directions on the bag indicate, but still only see a few little patches coming up. I will still water as directed and wait some more. Not too happy yet. I purchased 2 bags so hopefully I will get my monies worth. I will appreciate any advise or suggestions for it to be successful.
