Great product, works perfectly.
This is a fantastic chin strap. It is comfortable and easy to use. It is durable. And most of all, it keeps me from sleeping with my mouth open. I use it in conjunction with my CPAP and they are perfectly comfortable together. I used to wake up with my mouth so dry I couldn't open it. Now, I wake up and all is normal. Highly recommend.

I was desperate for this to work.
Unfortunately, after only a week of nightly usage, my AVEELA chin strap became permanently loose no matter how much I tightened it and no longer kept my mouth shut during sleep.I suffer from dry mouth, so when I first bought this I was ecstatic it worked on the very first night. It wasn't uncomfortable, and it even kept my chin shut when I slept on my back. I was amazed. But after a week I noticed that I was waking up multiple times a night again because my mouth had become dry. I constantly tried to tighten the chin strap any way I could; nothing worked. I even tightened it so much it started leaving marks on the side of my face, leaving my cheeks and lower jaw sore all day long, but my mouth would still open after just a few moments of laying down, no matter what position I was in.It also didn't matter where I placed the chin part of the fabric.I have concluded that the fabric on the chin strap becomes loose and after a certain amount of time, there is no way to tighten it anymore without causing pain, rendering this product useless.I'm so disappointed. Back to taping my mouth shut I guess.

The only chinstrap that works (especially for large heads) and doesn't stink to high heaven
OK, I'll admit it -- I have a big head. Hat size 8, which many hat manufacturers don't even bother with. But I need a chin strap for my CPAP machine, so my mouth doesn't dry out when I sleep, and I need it to fit around my big head. And I NEED ONE THAT DOESN'T STINK AFTER TWO NIGHTS like the only one I could otherwise find that came in an extra-large size.It was ruby-red, and even its XL size didn’t really fit; it had an over-the-head strap I had to staple at its maximum length to keep it from popping off. Instructions say to wash it every day -- yeah, right, like anyone is going to do that? I tried washing it every other day in the super-gentle cycle of my washing machine and it started falling apart.C’mon, everybody -- we can send people into outer space and we can’t even design a sturdy chinstrap that doesn’t reek? Elon Musk, where are you when we need you?Well, where Elon Musk fails, Jeff Bezos succeeds. Amazon.com helped me find a small company -- Aveela -- that really knows how to make chinstraps. In multiple sizes. With a money-back guarantee.I bought one. It fits perfectly, it’s made of a NON-absorbent material that hasn’t started smelling even after 2 weeks of non-washing, and it keeps my mouth closed at night. It even includes instructions on how to SHORTEN the over-the-top strap if it's too long (it's not).My only complaint is that the over-the-head strap is made of a hook-and-loop material that is a bit scratchy if you don’t arrange it just right. Other than that, this chinstrap is perfect!!!!!!!!!NOTE ADDED AFTER POSTING: I just finished an e-mail with the company's support group, and they told me I should wash the strap every day. By hand. ☹ But it's still the best one on the market.

It definitely helps!
I was on a ACPAP for over 10 yearsRecently I was told that I didn’t need to continueA few months later I started getting dry mouthI’m wanting to try to avoid the CPAP approach againSo this was exactly what I was looking forIt is comfortable to wear and adjustableWhat I don’t know is how tight is just enoughMy dry mouth is greatly reduced but I don’t want to over tighten it and cause other issues like jaw muscles or TMJ.I’ve bought a second one for when I’m tired and taking a nap in my lounge chair. Hoping to get feedback from my family on my snoringEither way it is helpingI feel more restful and it’s definitely cheaper and more comfortable than a CPAP machine

not working for me
It fits well, and I was looking for help with dry mouth that just recently started with my CPAP. It helped one night and then after that I was back to the same issue.

Comfortable fit.

Strong Odor
While this is adjustable and comfortable the odor is so strong that I was unable to wear it. I let it air out for a week but it still has a strong rubber odor.

This may be a winner.
So it seems it fits my head. I’m in the process of trying to get use to the fit of it. I think this is going to help my dry mouth. I will give more feedback as I continue to use it. I wish they had a little extender piece, as it is snug but than again maybe it should be. I think that it’s something I can pull off. Funny that it seems cool, not sure how it will be in the summer. I wish it actually had large holes instead of what looks like a pin prick to it.
