Get it!
I purchased this for my kiddos karate gear, it perfectly fits a waist belt, helmet, padded gloves and gi uniform. Rothco never disappoints with the canvas material either, very durable.

Canvas bag. Good for overnights
Wanted a good size travel bag for my kid that could be tossed in the wash in case of bed bugs. This was a nice size duffel bag and thick canvas.

Quality duffle bag
I was a good boy last year, so Santa brought me the 15 inch Rothco duffle bag for a tool kit to go in my zombie truck. I liked the bag so much, I wanted another one for for all my motorcycle heated gear. The 15 inch bag was a little small (especially the opening), so I skipped a size and went for the 19 inch bag (9" wide). It's longer and wider than the 15 and 17 inch bags (both 8" wide). The 19 inch duffle is a good sized bag with lots of room. I can't imagine how big the 24 inch duffle bag must be... I'll bet you a Slurpee a small horse could fit in that sucker. The 17 inch bag might have worked for me, but I can easily fit everything in this bag. With the extra space I can stuff even more cold weather motorcycle gear in there for storage. There's a nice zipper pocket on the side where you can store the shoulder strap when not in use (or other things). The bag has no other pockets. It's a pretty basic design which seems pretty rugged. Other reviewers complained the bag isn't washable. I don't plan on ever washing mine, so these should be fine for my purposes.I just wish I had bought the black bag because black is the official biker color of... everything. I'm just a sucker for military looking stuff so I bought the olive drab version. Either way I'm happy with it.

This is my second one- and I’ll be getting another
For a simple bag, this thing is awesome. One main compartment, and one medium size side pocket on the side. I was expecting mid quality at this price but this is a very good bag, especially at this price. Seems like it would last a long time, and carries whatever I’ve put in it no matter how heavy. I’m impressed! and I’ve bought 2 for in-state travel - a big one for me and a mid size one for my son. I’m going to get another just for my dedicated gym bag.

Love this bag
This has to be my favorite duffle bag I have ever owned. it's very sturdy and looks nice, I can keep it unzipped while walking about without anything falling out. I purchased this for the gym and would definitely buy the larger size for a travel bag.

Good inexpensive light duty bag.
Item: Military Style Shoulder Bag (also known as equipment bag, or roll bag)Color: OD (Olive Drab) GreenLet's start with what this is, and what it's not. It isn't a heavy duty bag, and it doesn't look like it was designed to be used as such. At this price point, one certainly wouldn't regret throwing this bag around, but I also don't expect for it to withstand heavy abuse. The canvas will naturally take the abuse I think, but not sure about the stitching and hardware on this bag. I certainly wouldn't use it as a bowling bag. So if you're planning on using it to lug heavy gear, like tools, books, etc., I can't recommend it.It also isn't a fashion or designer bag. Meaning that the color will probably fade, it doesn't have any cool zippers, military style markings, etc. It's a no frills and no thrills light duty military style bag, literally with no bells and whistles.Let's talk about what this bag is for, which is light to maybe some medium duty use. For example, going to the gym or to the beach with a few of your items qualifies as such. I think the bag will safely hold 15 to maybe 20 LBS at most. As mentioned above, judging by the hardware and stitching, it's not designed for heavy duty use. It also has a zipper pocket on one end, which will be useful to place small items for easy access, such as a wallet or keys. Personally, I plan on using this as a gym bag, maybe some short road trips, and to haul miscellaneous gear here and there. Have not had a chance to test it out yet, but my initial impression is that I will get a long and good use out of this.Let's talk about the overall build and finish. I've read some reviews, where buyers were critical of the color, and color fastness. I'm a Vet, so I knew exactly what I was getting when I ordered the OD (Olive Drab) Green. As pointed out in some of the other reviews, the strap is not an exact match to the bag, but the difference is negligible. I don't mean that it's an entirely different color, but the shade is slightly different. However at this price point, it should not be an issue. As for the color fastness... Obviously, I just got this and am unable to review the color fastness just yet, but I will say this. I probably won't wash this bag, if ever. If I do, I will turn it inside out, use woolite and cold water, just like I do with my jeans. I also will not be sad if the color changes, but I will wash it by itself just in case though.Far as size and shape is concerned, the outer dimensions are 19x9 inches as advertised, and the inner dimensions are just slightly under that. Also it's important to note that this is a SOFT roll bag (tube shaped) as pictured. Unlike a lot of the popular sports duffel bags out there, this bag is not rigid, and will not hold its shape unless it is completely full. The hardware on the bag looks like it'll be fine for light use. The tape and teeth of the zippers appears to be of good quality, but the pull tab feels cheap... Would not be surprised if it breaks off. That being said, I won't be disappointed if it does fall off, I'll just replace it with a key ring or something. The stitching, doesn't appear to be heavy duty. I'm not a seamstress, but it appears to be a common lock stitch from a sewing machine. Not the best, but not the worst either.Durability... I may update this review later, but so far it's holding up as of this review date.In conclusion, this is a great cheap bag for light duty and travel, one that I won't worry about being decimated during one adventure or another. If it tears or rips, then I'll sew it. If a zipper tab falls off, I'll tie something on and make it work. If it disintegrates into thin air, well I might just buy another one. If you're a frequent traveler of the world, this is not for you, you should look for a bag with heavy duty features. For the rest of us mortals, this is a good choice to stow a few of our things without spending much.

Meets Expectations
The material is made of high quality canvas and is as advertised. There’s one zippered pocket on the outside of the bag and holds exactly what I need. I use it as a gym bag and have no complaints so far.

Solid gym duffle bag
This bag is sturdy with quality stitching. The side pocket is smaller than I am used to on my previous gym bag, but big enough for keys, phone, and a bottle of advil. Overall, it's great for a change of clothes or a few gym accessories.
