Great detector, worth it.
I was battling a choice of Minelab vs Garrett, I’m glad I went with the Minelab, I ultimately choose the 540 for its multi frequency, I had read that it preformed quite well in wet sand; We’ll I just took a trip to the beach, and it did very well!, I set the sensitivity down 2 clicks, and went to work. Found some pocket change, hotwheel car, some rings, and some other odds and ends. Very happy with my purchase.

Don’t buy from here. Missing half the items. Great detector though
Bought the 540 through amazon as an open box although certified as new. Missing parts needed to get this thing going including the batteries, armrest, cover, and hardware to connect the coil to the shaft.Minelab customer support has been more than helpful and responsive. I’ll be getting my stuff straight through them rather than Amazon

This is a very useful and accurate metal detector.
I liked how easy it was to use, and I have very few false signals, mostly from nearby powerlines. I highly recommend this!

Crap Pro-find 15 in the bundle
Metal detector worked great but the Pro-find15 didn’t. Can’t detect anything. Had to return my wonderful metal detector because of the crappy Pro-find 15 price of crap that was bundled with it.
