purchased a different version at first which was more expensive, which had charge and so worked but would not charge returned damaged.purchased this battery as had previously purchased for a different MacBook Air and it was plug and play. even though this is less expensive it is a much better quality and works well.I would recommend this over more expensive batteries as now had 3 of these batteries and they always work

The battery arrived within 2 days and the swap is easy, as long as you follow the instructions carefully, keep track of all the screws removed and treat the electrical connection with the respect it deserves. The battery showed 70% charge when fitted and has not needed charging in the couple of days since installation. I cannot therefore comment on the battery life, except to say I am optimistic.All in all it was well worth while to keep the 10 year old MacBook alive and well — still with enough power the deal with all the Internet surfing, documents and spreadsheets I use.

Quick and easy to install, and worth every penny!!

Worked perfectly for about 3 months and now it wont turn on…. Really poor quality battery. Cannot recommend

Worked for 3,5 years

Battery is ok, installed with no issues. Yet, it's not new. It shows cycle count 3 and max charge capacity of 5984 mAh instead of the promises 6000. I'll keep it as it's better than a totally dead one I had before - but somewhat disappointed.

Had one similar (not the same brand) to this that I managed to kill by leaving in standby til it ran out - it never recovered.Bit concerned about buying another as it's for an old MacBook Pro I rarely use, but it has a CD/DVD drive so can be useful.Have to say this battery is amazing - probably better that the original Apple one! Bought Mid January, it's now Mid July and I've charged it ONCE and it still has 50% left. That amount of resting capacity is immense. I've used the laptop a handful of times and not for long periods but when I do the battery holds up well. I read the instructions about letting the battery run down before fully charging (first time use), and in the end I put the laptop to sleep to run the battery down! Charged it fully when at 15% and it's great!.Highly recommended - and I don't work for the company!!!
