Cuisinart DLC-834TX-1 Replacement Stainless Steel Fine Shredding Disc Blade Fits Models DFP-11, DFP-7BC, DLC-10, DLC-2007N, DLC-2011, & DLC-8 Only OEM

I couldn't find my Cuisinart model number, so selected my food processor based solely on the food processor pictures. ISeneca River sent what I ordered. The product was excellent, and delivery was prompt. It just happened not to fit because I ordered the wrong part. They graciously accepted myreturn. I only had to pay return postage.

I LOVE my Cuisinart Food Processor. I am 72 and have my third one. Passed alone my older ones to friends! However, I struggle making mini grated carrots and such on a hand held device. They are difficult to grate and don't look very pleasing. I happened to accidentally come across this and bought it right away!!LOVE this smaller grater! So much nicer in salads and such!! Very sharp and works as well as all their other blades! Very HAPPY to discover this was available! Never thought to look for one! Always used the large one, and then sometimes re-cut them with the regular blade! So Happy using this now!!

The product is fine but I need another part for this machine. I will need the attachment to attach this part to that attaches to the machine. A lot of attachments but I need to make zucchini bread. KJB

This Cuisinart disc has tiny holes so that if you want to make find grading such as you need to make Jewish potato latkes, or you want to make a finally grated carrot salad, this is the disk you need. As with all Cuisinart products is very high-quality and it does the job perfectly every time. Find shredding. I suppose you could also shred Parmesan cheese with it as well as it crumbles easily. I love it for shredding potatoes when I want that superfine hair like shredding that cooks quickly and easily. Be sure that you actually get delivered the fine grater as a lot of times the medium one which is included with a Cuisinart is the one that is sent. There is a difference.

My DLC-2009CHB food processor came with the medium shredding disc which does not grate potatoes small enough to suit me for making potato pancakes, so I wanted the DLC-834TX Fine Disc. However, if you check its comparability with the DLC-2009 food processor at Amazon, you are told compatibility can not be verified. Furthermore, you can not order a fine shredding disc on the Cuininart website for this model. So, I took the chance and ordered one. I am happy to report that this disc is compatible with my DLC-2009 and should be with yours. By the way, the grate is just perfect for potato pancakes.

It works like a charm. Sometimes you need a fine shred and this is awesome. Saves time and energy

Bought two new discs that were listed as compatible with CuisinartThese were for a smaller shred I needed for Parmesan and other Hard cheesesThis disc DID NOT FIT the Stem piece -- the other one did and I loved it

This is just what we needed. We originally got it primarily to shred potatoes for hash browns and potato pancakes. The shredding disk that came with our food processor makes too big shreds for our liking. We tested in on a potato, just to see. We think it will work. Meanwhile we have shredded mounds of cheese with it. I do get lazy and buy pre-shredded, but it is better done fresh and no additives to keep shreds from sticking together as in purchased shreds. Plus you can get the exact type of cheese you want, instead of settling for what is available pre-shredded I think it would work well for carrot salad shreds, too.
