At the NC beach for a weak. Winds 20 with 30 gusts. Most people were using a shibumi shade. That probably best choice for more than two and if car space saving is a must. The sails take a lot more beach space tho so set them up early. But for two I liked this umbrella. No problem with the winds, and It was not flapping crazy like the shade sails. I did use the sand bag and the little included shovel worked great. Set up was fast, think faster than the sails. Other umbrellas that were out were folding in half, inside out, and I did see one fly off. This umbrella has no tilt, but that can be a week point. Saw another market type umbrella with a tilt that failed from the wind, pin broke and would not lock upright. This umbrella easy to lean for some tilt and sable with the sand bag. I kept on highest setting the whole time, no problem, tho that is only like 5ft off beach. On the one morning with no wind it was just as nice. The sail shades dropping on peoples heads. After a week of abusive winds, up 7 hours a day, no damage or issues. I recommend for two people.

Okay. This one is a Winner!! Very easy to carry and light weight. Love the sand spike and turning handle. I buried it in medium wet sand on a falling tide. Easy to place the pole and umbrella into. It was light breeze and a few gusty winds at times. Never felt unsafe. No remember it was wet sand. Definitely could be different in a dry powder sand. Time will tell.Plenty of room for two beach chairs and our cooler.I’m modifying the strap on the bag to a handle. I just don’t like to carry anything on my shoulders. Personal preference. It was quit and didn’t fla or squeak in the wind.

We've been to the south Jersey Shore for many years and I've bought and threw out many beach umbrellas in that time. That area tends to have high sustained winds on the beach well in excess of 20mph. This is by far the sturdiest umbrella we've owned, (and the most expensive as well). The fiberglass ribs held up very well and was kinda cool to be the one of the very few people on on the beach with an open umbrella. The sand anchor is a bit of pain to get all the way down, but its deep and worked very well to keep the umbrella down in the wind. In fact, it worked better than our metal umbrella anchor. The other good thing about is the bag that holds the umbrella and accessories. Its big and roomy so getting everything in there is fast and easy. The 8' size is really nice as well.

Excellent quality fabric. The canopy fabric doesnt fade over timeZ The umbrella is a very sturdy umbrella. However, i would use it angled against the wind on very windy days. This umbrella doesn't have the tilt option. The umbrella has one manufacturing issue which is after a few uses the ring that holds the pieces together at the top becomes loose and all the spokes come out.

I bought this in the beginning of the summer. I have to say this has been one of the best purchases I have made for the beach to date. Very well made. Anchors in sand and holds very strong. I bought a shovel umbrella anchor for this but it did not fit. Used it anyway in high wind to tie umbrella down. Packs away very nice with carting case. Perfect by the pool as well.

Well made, comes with all kinds of great accessories. Nice and large and easy to put up and down. Great for the beach.

Spent so much time looking for a sturdy umbrella and found this one. It works so well. Used it in Destin and Rosemary beach with a little high wind. Saw other umbrellas fly off but not ours. The stake really works well, and I love that I can hang stuff on the pole. Has really good coverage for four people. Love the price for this umbrella

First let me say I rated this product 5 stars because it really is a great umbrella that assembles easily, installs quickly, and looks great. It also provides enough shade for 2 adults with a little room to spare. The only questionable feature is its SPF capability. My first time using it was in the August, Florida sun for approximately 6 hrs and I did get a slight burn. Using sunscreen, even while under this umbrella, would be highly recommended.
