Valentina Salsa Picante - 370 ml

Love the Valentina sauce have tried the hot version too which is great too but all the family can eat this version - it’s like a Mexican slightly spiced up ketchup!It was very well wrapped in both bubble wrap and corrugated cardboard so they’ve dealt with the potential smashing issue. Also great value at the moment as it’s a large bottle will last a good while as you can splash it over anything but it’s not too thick. A must try for sauce lovers, I heard it’s the most popular sauce in Mexico!

Delicious, super fast deliver, very happy

This is my most favorite hot sauce to put on tacos and was so happy to see if available on Amazon in the UK. It cost a fraction of the price at home (one shop I use to purchase at was under a dollar) but consider the distance it has traveled, can't complain to have a taste from home. It's not too hot, but slightly vinegary - just like I like a hot sauce to be. Good on beef, chicken, pork, fish, and veg tacos. You really can't go wrong with Valentina Salsa Picante and I'm so happy to be able to purchase it here.

This sauce is very delicious. The sauce is relatively thick but still pourable, it tastes like a combination of chillies and tomatoes, with a slight vinegar kick but hardly noticeable compared to a sauce like Tabasco.In terms of spice I would say to the average person they would find it spicy, if I had to compare it to another sauce I would say it is a little spicier than Cholula, but not by much, if you like spice you should be able to handle it with no issues.The sauce comes packaged in a sealed glass bottle with a plastic cap. The plastic cap is well designed and pours well, with a second air hole to allow the sauce to be poured continuously.Definitely a sauce to try!

Really enjoy this sauce with pulled pork.

This comes in a sturdy glass bottle. It has a balanced blend of ripe tomatoes and spices. The consistency is perfect, not too thick, but not overly runny, making it versatile and ideal for both dipping and pouring over dishes. The initial taste is a pleasant mix of tangy tomatoes and mild sweetness, quickly followed by a satisfying heat. Although spiced, it is well-calibrated, providing a gentle kick that enhances the overall flavor profile without completely overwhelming the palate. Good value.

Genuinely the nicest hot sauce I’ve had in a long time.

This sauce is thicker than most so less likely to just run off the food as thinner sauces do. It’s got great depth of flavour and just the right amount of heat.
