compact and fantastic for women
I’m extremely impressed with the Hyundai Lightweight 14" Electric Chainsaw 1600W! This chainsaw is powerful yet lightweight, making it incredibly easy to maneuver, even during extended use. The 1600W motor provides more than enough power for cutting through branches and small to medium trees with ease. It starts up quickly, and the chain stays sharp even after heavy use. The build quality is solid, and it feels durable and well-constructed. The safety features are great, giving me peace of mind while using it. It’s a fantastic tool for both novice and experienced users. Highly recommend this chainsaw for anyone looking for an efficient, reliable, and user-friendly option!

Powerful., Easy to use.
Powerful, quick saw.Cut down a medium sized tree, no problem.Cut it down in stages, with no issues going through the trunk. The saw speeds up as it goes through the wood which makes sense as to safety.Couldn't believe how easy to use.

A good saw, but misleading instructions on chain tension.
I like this saw, with it's ease of chain tension, and progressive chain speed, BUT note in the instructions page 23, para 2).It says '...then a further 2 turns." NO! you will notice that as you tighten it, it starts to turn in clicks, and instead of 'turns' - which will completely slacken the whole cabooodle - turn it 1 1/2 'CLICKS'. A slip in the translation I fear.If it's too tight then slacken a click at a time. Each click adjusts it quite a bit, so go carefully.

Excellent tool. Well worth the money
I was suprised at how powerful this chainsaw is. I am very impressed and would recommend it to anyone. Brought down a 18 inch diameter tree and cut it up into logs. Very happy with it. Priced at £67 + on amazon. Great bit of kit

My garden has a new Sheriff in town.
Wow! I bought this as I had a beech hedge that was in such a difficult place to trim, it got out of control. Beech hedge will quickly revert to trees as soon as you turn your back. These two trunks merged to form an uber-beech trunk, siamesed at 5ft high. I did manage to lop it, but I was faced with a strange wooden arch that fought off my reciprocating saw, emasculating its (and my) pride.A new shed needed the space, so this meant war. The beech trunks at 40 years old were lifting slabs. It was no longer a demure hedge but threatening to take over. With my reciprocating saw out of the fight, and both batteries dead. I bought this bad lad, whom I have lovingly named the 'Max b'stard 9000'. It did not disappoint. It needed some assembly out of the box, which was simple enough. Some oil in the tank, I used 3-in-1. I have heard that vegetable oil works well, but I prefer my chips cooked in that. Threading the chain onto the spocket and through the guard rail was a little fiddly, but easy enough. Calmer hands would prevail easily. I used my oil can to drop a little of its amber magic onto the sprocket to soak in. I'm old school, you do not have to, but like the essential things in life, it is best to be well-lubed before going in.Once fastened, tensioning the chain was simple with a couple of turns on the big nob. No, not the operator, but a dial on the chainsaw. There is a chain brake, which is engaged when you get it. A hearty pull on the brake, some power, and woah! Get behind me, Satan. Literally, get right behind this thing.Point, pull the trigger (with a dead man's button - reassuring). On contact, it has an auto power setting from 'nibble' to 'devour everything in its path'. At full chat, it was all over very quickly - story of my life. The wife was watching (supervising) and could barely look, while I got to work earning stars on my man badge. There was no vibration, smooth as a hot knife through butter, and whilst I was hanging on (wary of kickback - it didn't), I stamped my authority on this mutant beech. It was on the floor faster than a vertically challenged Italian footballer in the 6-yard box.At 5kg in weight, it has some heft but not so heavy that it's a chore. It chomped through the trunks in about three minutes flat. Some man handling the trunks, and more nom-nom from the chainsaw, they are in manageable chunks, with the wife saying "Are you finished yet?" Story of my life.If you are new to chainsaws (like me - but a keen power tools enthusiast), or fancy something in your arsenal to keep your garden in check, this is the chainsaw to get. It would not manage anything like a big tree (it would have a good try, but would probably break). It is a brilliant piece of kit, and any tree in that difficult mid-life crisis period is easy prey. The chain supplied was up to the job, no idea on longevity, but I might treat it to a more premium one, I am that enamoured.Reasonable money, very well put together, did the job with ease. In a house with a wife and two teenage daughters. I am back as head of the household and not the bald headed, tubby irrelevance and part-time taxi driver.Five stars, recommended, and the hedges that border our house have a new Sheriff in town.

Not very good
The media could not be loaded. Chainsaw stopped working and started to give off smoke after less than 1 month of use, only used to cut softwood pallets. Not very good quality have requested a refund.

Well built
surprisingly powerful. (people who think that this should be sent through the postal system with oil in the tank! may not be very practical people) As an experienced chainsaw user i found the two speed system a complete frustration and pointless waste of time. I want to be controlling thr rev/cutting speed. A chainsaw should start the cut at somewhere near full revs. When you back the revs off to check where you are with the cut the slow speed clicks in, you then have to wait 2 seconds for the power to come back and rev again. If this happens 2 or 3 times for every log you cut it becomes frustrating.I bought the Oregon equiverlant recently. it revs to full power instantly and stops dead the instant the trigger is released. Plus it has a better chain with more teeth and cuts faster.
