Blast the water off of your liner!
This is a complete game changer. It is an awesome addition to my pool. I sent a video to my son, and he is purchasing one for his pool. Five stars!

Fantastic solution for cover pump!
Great attachment for auto cover pump! Effective and fun to watch. Removes my doubts about my pumps not working…I can literally watch from my house and not have to tromp outside in rain gear to check my hoses.*Only minor challenge is positioning close enough to edge to clear my concrete.

Awesome addition to your pump
I wish I knew about this product earlier for pumping water out of my solid pool cover. I used to have a garden hose or a PVC pipe to pump the water out of my pool cover. Later on I found that cold weather will affect how the hose and PVC pipe works, it's frozen all the time, worst yet, pvc breaks due to frozen and water pooled up the cover. After I installed it on my pump, it works perfectly, it simply shoots the water in big stream out to the edge of my yard. So far it works very well even under very cold condition that it does not get frozen.

Convenient but lacks durability
Works pretty well, easier than attaching a hose, definitely not durable, plan on buying a replacement at least annually.

Much better than a hose
I had been using a water hose connected to my pump but it froze so I switched to this which works great!

Must have pool supply
I recently came across an impressive invention that has greatly improved our setup. Previously, we had a hose connected to our pool cover pump, which not only looked unsightly but also posed a tripping hazard. This new solution is fantastic; the spout effectively directs the water away, eliminating both the aesthetic concerns and safety issues.

Does what it claims, but with a caveat
I use a Little Giant APC-1700 pool cover pump to keep water off of my automatic pool cover during the swimming season. Our pool guy set it up with a hose to exhaust the water onto the lawn and a rope to drag the pump into position. But the hose, rope, and electric cord get irritatingly entangled when you try to position the pump on the cover. So I figured I’d try the Coverblast attachment to replace the hose. It does work: it shoots the water far enough to clear my (rather narrow) pool patio and spray onto the lawn. But if you’re using a rope to drag the pump into place, be aware that if the Coverblast gets crossed up with the rope, it will knock the Coverblast flat (since the hose attachment on the pump is a pivoting type). So you either need to make sure the rope doesn’t get crossed up with the Coverblast, or you need to get rid of the rope and use a different tool to position the pump on the cover. That’s my next step: I just ordered a boat hook on an aluminum pole to shove the pump out onto the cover and drag it back when it’s time to remove it. Hopefully with the Coverblast and a boat hook instead of the hose and a rope, it will be easier to put the pump in place on the cover. EDIT: got a boat hook to replace the rope, and it works great. That’s what you need: good cover pump, Coverblast, and boat hook to push the pump out onto the cover and retrieve it (and reposition the Coverblast if it gets knocked flat in the process). LONG TERM EDIT +1YR: This lasted about a season and a half before the plastic snapped off at the attachment point. Still works well enough that it’s worth it to me at the current price.

It works well copared to a hose for winter pool cover pump
I used to run a hose from the pool cover pump.. melting snow or rain could put a lot of water onto our pool cover. The pump would run when it sensed a certain amount of water around it. I would move the hose from point to point to distribute water around the yard but it was always in danger of freezing in the coldest conditions.I saw this when I was replacing the cover pump and picked it up. It handled the load the whole winter. My only problem was the distance it shoots the water. Maybe 18 feet. The spot where the water mostly collected in a long kidney-shape pool meant I had to point it a certain direction to be sure the water left the cover. I pointed it at a tree bed near the back fence (and near the neighbors yard which was at a lower elevation). Come heavy spring rains.. I flooded the neighbors yard and patio... now, that wasn't really my fault.. everyone know water flows downhill and it is up to him to have proper drainage. If I had no pool and no pump he would have pretty much gotten the same amount of water. And my hard had flooded spots as well. I just didn't have a patio flodding. But I had thought the tree/shrub roots would take in more water so I jst pointed the pump more to the side and he got more water away from his patio when it eventually flowed into his yard. In any case.. somethign to consider with this product. When I used the hose, he had no complaints and no idea where teh water went.. but when the pump shoots it into the air.. it makes noise and is pretty obvious.
