Are they made in the USA?

To the answers that say they are junk! If you can't light a fire with 1 or even 1/2 of these............... You shouldn't be playing with matches! They work great even with ferro rods. They are a FIRE STARTER, not a fuel source..........lol

I cannot start a fire with these tiny squares. I have tried 10 at a time and can’t get a log to burn b4 they go out. Help?!?

I use these for my pellet stove and not in my wood stove. In my wood stove or your fire place you will need kindling. Small pieces of card board or wood. I normally start a fire in my wood stove with a small pile of paper and card board. After that starts burning I start adding slightly larger sticks or pieces of wood. After they catch on fire I add bigger and bigger pieces until you can add your logs. The whole process takes about 10 to 15 minutes. You should remember to have 3 piles of kindling ready of different sizes and sufficient quantity before you start. Be patient and BE PREPARED. An old Boy Scout.👍

Can a steel fire-starter flint work to start this ?

You can break up one fire started and start it with a flint. If you dont break it down, it takes longer to light it. Thanks!

Can this product be stored in your car trunk? We plan to store it in our car go bag, in Texas heat. Will this product be damaged or cause damage?

We store them in an RV that get very hot and they have been ok. However they are nit the best fire starters. Ace hardware and or Walmart have some that are much better. This product looks like a good deal however the starters are very smal.
