SOLIOM S600 Outdoor WiFi Security Camera - 360° Pan Tilt, Solar Powered with Battery, Motion Detection, Color Night Vision, 2-Way Talk, Remote Access

I installed this camera to keep a check on my driveway due to suspicions of a rather pesky and aggressive neighbour, and it has acted as a great addition to the household surveillance as well as a brilliant deterrent. Image and audio quality are as good as you'd expect, with pretty swell night-vision. A little bummed out by the fact that I cannot natively run the camera feed on a Windows PC without having to install an emulator, and wish that the cloud video would save moments leading up to the detection as well as a little longer than the 10 second standard, but I do intend to install an SD card for further storage soon. Overall a great product, and well worth the money!

Got this as an Amazon second life purchase.Box was damaged and crushed on one side.I was able to reattach the one antennaMissing mounting hardware and charge cordMotion activation is only 18 feet mounted 9 feet off the groundThe unit fully assembled takes up the same area as a basketball so its very obvious and would need to be mounted highWifi range isn't bad and picture in daytime is average.Night images are very blurryDefinitely not worth half of what I paid for it even used cost.

I've had this brick... I mean camera for a year or more now, and while it was a good camera for the first month, then something burped in the app, and it's never worked since.I thought my wi-fi had a dual band option, but this camera apparently can't see that, and says Don't Connect to 5G.Funny thing is, for the month that it was working, it must have been okay with 5G, since we've had the same wi-fi the whole time.If you have 2.4 as an option, it may work great for you.But, if you have 5G, you have a camera that will turn on, and that's it. It would be great if it also had the option for ethernet connection (as the camera I got as a replacement to this one does,) but as it is, it's a paperweight, that I try to keep charged... just in case it suddenly sees the 2.4 wi-fi signal that's floating around here someplace.

love the cameras, easy to install and the quality of the video is great even if you zoom it out , I bought two cameras and i just order two more

Well hard to say anything good about an item that stopped working after 6 months. Water got inside and it just died (see pictures). It was decent while it was working but obviously can't recommend.Upd: Manufacturer contacted me 4 months after I returned the camera to Amazon and sent me a new unit that I'm currently testing, so far works as expected, arrived with some minor cracks around the power cable but that's not critical. Will update this review accordingly after a few months.

I have been using the Soliom Cameras now since 2019 they have a come a long way and product quality has improved greatly.

I have four of these cameras. They range from 6 months to 12 months old. Followings are the summaries of my experience with Soliom cameras.This camera is ok when working! However, there are quite a few problems:1. The camera would mysteriously ceased to connect for few days. Other Soliom cameras nearby will connect at same time. So, this is not an issue of WIFI signal. This can happen to different cameras at different time. Its like Russian roulette. One camera happens so frequently, it requires power disconnect and reconnect to get it going again. This defeat the purpose of remote monitoring.2. Two camera died - no amount of CPR would restore its life.3. Environment sensitive - not ip66. The battery compartment got wet and die.4. One camera's night vision not working after few months.I contacted customer support via email, they want me to somehow "share" the "dead" cameras so they can diagnose the problem from China. Further, while they do respond to my email, the tactic is to get you so tired of going back and forth until you give-up. I am going to dump these cameras to my trash bin and try other brand cameras now.The subscription fee started out $1.99 per month to $3.99 per month. However, the event trigger is reduced to 7 days cloud storage if you want to keep the $1.99 per month. You do not need to have the cloud subscription if you have the SD card installed.Edited: 1/21/2022Soliom customer support reached out to me and offered their "newer" version - S800 replacement. The company claims the current version of S600 and S800 product line have improved WIFI performance. The S800 product's battery casing, unlike S600 version, has improved casing as ip66 rated. So far, the S800 is working reliably and set up takes less than two minutes. The WIFI reception is superior than the competitions that I have tried two other brands. To be fair, all of my cameras are in the rough coastal environment with gusty wind and salt air. I have purchased two S800 to replace the S600 units since. For the excellent customer support and the assistant they have provided, I am thankful for the batter overall experience on this product.

First when I received their product opened up the box and there was no mounting equipment, no screws or anythingSecond the video always has trouble connecting to the WiFi but all my other WiFi controlled devices work fine.Third the 360 pan and tilt stopped working so now I can even use this for what I needed.Waste of money, so many troubles, I’ve only had this less than 1 month I would return but I waited too long on the return time. Very stressful, frustrating, disappointing product. Do better soliom
