If you know this film, then you know just how good it is, now in 4K, it’s even better.Set in the future, Corbin Dallas (Bruce Willis) is a retired veteran who now drives a cab in Future New York. Unbeknownst to him, he is about to ally with a supreme being known as the Fifth Element (Milla Jojovich) that is responsible for the protection of Earth, alongside Vitto Cornelius (the late Sir Ian Holm) and David (Charlie Creed Miles) must race to find the four stones needed to save life, the four elements that go around the Fifth Element. However, easier said than done, trying to prevent the Earth from being protected, is Zorg (Gary Oldman) a shady corporate man who wants to help the Evil that wants to annihilate Earth.Other performances from Chris Tucker. Lee Evans, Tom Lister Jr, and Briton James with a Cameo from the late Luke Perry make for a terrific movie.More than that, With legendary Director Luc Besson (Leon) makes this film a worthwhile watch

Good but not 4K
The picture quality isn't 4K?Parts of the film are grainy. It looks like it's been upscaled to 4K.Great film but not the best quality picture?

Great film
Like the fact that you have both the blue-ray and the 4k discs.

4K included the Blu-ray.
I put off buying this as the images posted by Amazon do not include the standard Blu-ray version. I'm very surprised to find that the copy I received had both disks. The Blu-ray is region B.

Superior in every way to the previous 4K release!
Having owned the previous 4K release, I really wasn't impressed: the image looked as though it had been badly upscaled - turning the grain in the picture into distracting noise which arguably hid any additional detail that 4K should have brought rather than enhanced it. Then there was the dreadful, tinny 7.1 soundtrack which was so poorly mixed that it made centre channel audio (such as voices) inaudible in places... it made an otherwise great movie a thoroughly unenjoyable experience. This release, on the other hand, has been done properly! The picture is sharp, but still includes grain that isn't distracting, and brings out details that you didn't notice before. The colours pop brightly, creating a stunning new visual pallet that is still faithful to the cinematic presentation, only enhanced. The new Atmos soundtrack has cleared up the centre channel and ditched the tinny distortions that haunted the previous release, bringing with it deep, meaty basses that really make action sequences enjoyable. Bravo!
