I definitely had some issues with this fog machine. The stupid thing would not run in auto! If I wanted fog I had to press a button on the remote, I'd get a 8 second burst and then nothing. I actually had it set up to return it. This happened a couple of times and then the day of party came and I needed fog. Since I'd be close by I figured it wouldn't be too inconvenient to man the machine for a few hours. And wouldn't you know it started to work as intended. All of the auto functions worked flawlessly! I did cancel the return and honestly very impressed with the output of this little guy. I still had to keep my eye on it because it put out way more fog than I thought it would and I had to turn it off and on because we were indoors, it was a big enough for like 20 kids 5-9 years old plus the parents, and it got thick real quick. I took a garage can and heating duct with some ice to make the fog lay on the ground (go to YouTube you'll see) and they loved it.

For the price point, it's a reasonable trade-off.Tricky to Get a Specific Look: Fog machines, in general, can be a bit tricky when it comes to achieving a specific look. Factors like weather conditions and fog juice levels can affect the outcome. It may take some trial and error to get the desired effect.A word of caution: "Continuous" in the fog machine context means it operates in cycles – heating up, shooting fog, resting, and repeating until it runs out of fog juice. The media could not be loaded. I was in need of just a basic fog machine to create a fogged environment for aligning lasers. It works perfect for that need. However, it worked so well I set out to observe what this little machine was capable of producing and wow... I filled up the tank with some special fog juice and let her go (full - auto mode C). It really was unbelievable to see a little 400 watt machine putting out the level of fog. Note, for these outdoor pictures it was NOT a foggy night at all!UPDATE @ 7 MONTHS LATER:7 months into ownership and I have some bad news. First the pump in my machine failed. When pressing the button to activate the fog, the relay kicks and I get 120 volts to the pump but the pump does not operate. Secondly, this machine is a shock hazard. The internal grounding of the machine is flawed due to the powder coating of the case. Worst is the heating element. When the heating element faults against the case, ZAP when you touch the case. I was jolted by 120v AC picking up the machine while it was plugged in. Subsequently when I plugged the machine into a GFCI outlet, it would trip the protection instantly. Why you ask? Because the heating element had grounded to the UN-GROUNDED CHASSIS.I have had to now take the machine apart and fix the internal grounding of the case and the heating element. I am now in search of ordering a replacement pump.I used the machine maybe a total of 5 times in 7 months. Fail.

Works great, smoke intervals are good however the smoke emissions are short and it uses a great deal of smoke mix.

Fog machine quit after 1 use. Not happy with the amount I didn't to have it break in one day. Not worth it.

Edit: I'm not sure what I did but the timer is working as expected; I think I may have hit the manual/red button on the back just once.Tried it two nights in a row, lots of fog!Just opened it up and had fog rolling when pressing any of the A/B/C buttons on remote, D stops the spray; however, it only sprays for 10s and stops and never automatically triggers again. Will contact manufacturer shortly and ask for assistance to resolution; will update rating if issue is resolved permanently.
