Extremely durable
Bought two of these for our 85 pound Belgian Malinois and 80 pound black german shepherd. Both will chase these for hours! They bounce in unexpected ways so the dogs have to think and plan harder. Very easy to throw because you can loop your fingers in the spaces. I don't for see these ever breaking down. Have been in the yard for a year and no change in them. Only things that could make these better would be if they glowed in the dark and floated. Having said that, I have dug these out of the pool several times. Sometimes I don't have time to get out the pool tools right away and they have been in the chlorine for weeks and don't seem to be affected at all. Its a hassle to fish them out, but a testament to their durability. The humans and pups are all very happy with them!

You can't go wrong with this toy!
This is my first ever Amazon Review. It takes a lot for me to write a review either good or bad. All I can say is this toy is worth its weight in GOLD! If I could give it more than 5 stars I would.I have a larger Cavalier King Charles Spaniel that weights 27 pounds and the vet says she is absolutely NOT overweight. She has chewed holes in all of her pet beds, all of her soft dog toys, and she has even destroyed a few Kong toys! After she destroyed the Kong toys I was skeptical there was a toy out there she couldn't chew through. I was a little concerned with the price but I figured if she destroyed it there would be nothing lost with the company's money back guarantee. I bought this the end of January 2025 and she absolutely LOVES it!! She chews on it, plays fetch with it and she even takes it to bed with her, it is her go to toy. To look at it today you would never know that we have had it for almost 3 months, it still looks brand new. There are just not enough great things I can say about this toy. If you have an aggressive, power chewer then this is definitely a toy you should take a chance on and try!!

Perfect for High-Drive Dogs & Surprisingly Durable (six month review)
I use this ring ball for structured fetch and tug sessions with my high-drive German Shepherd mix (91 lbs. at 10 mon.), and it’s easily the best toy we’ve added to our routine. What makes it truly exceptional is how it allows my dog to engage in the full canine predatory sequence:• Chase: He locks in visually and bolts after the ring when I throw it.• Grab & Hold: He brings it back, pins it against my leg, and bites down firmly (the toy—not the leg!)—his way of acting out the natural catch-and-control behavior.• Unalive & Tug: We finish with a strong tug session, which satisfies his instinct to grip and shake—basically his version of “making the toy unalive.”• Settle & Chew: Afterward, he relaxes with a chew toy or eats—completing the full physical and mental cycle in a healthy, balanced way.Durability is outstanding—this toy stands up to intense tug sessions with no tearing or damage, even with a 91 lb powerhouse. My senior dog also joins in for double tug play, and it holds up beautifully to that too.I don’t leave this toy down for chewing—it’s not a chew toy. I use it specifically for fetch and tug, then put it away when we’re done. This keeps it exciting and extends its lifespan. My dog has other chew toys he can use freely throughout the day. This isn’t just another fetch toy—when thoughtful it provides a structured, instinct-satisfying experience that’s mentally enriching and physically engaging. If you have a high-drive or working breed, or a dog who thrives on interactive play, this ring ball is 100% worth it.

Great for very strong, aggressive chewer!
We purchased this at the same time we purchased another extra large toy ball with a handle for our aggressive chewer dog. The promotions on the other ball said it was for aggressive chewers as well. We were disappointed that the other brand had to be taken away within 5 minutes because he had chewed off a piece of the handle. I'm very happy to report that this ball has lasted so far for weeks with no signs of wearing out. I figured that since it is made out of heavy rubber, similar to a Kong, that it would last very well with him. I have to say, it's even surpassing the toughness of the XXL Extreme Kong for our very strong jawed dog. I recommend it if you have a dog that immediately destroys almost every toy you buy! He loves to lay down and chew it as well as chase it around the yard. It's holding up really well!!

This Ball is the BEST!!!
This ball has turned out to be the best purchase as our German Shepherd LOVES playing with it! It appears to be extremely durable so it should last! The company does offer a one time replacement so you can’t beat that. Happy we ordered it!!

chew ball
Bear loves the new toy. We are on day 3 and he managed to chew through where the emblem was engraved. He is a Rottweiler and an a very aggressive chewer. But so far so good

Great play ball
Our girl loves her new ball toy , she loves to chew everything but this is pretty destructible ball . It will take some major chewing to chew this one up. So glad I found it for her. 👍

Our aggressive chewer can’t chew it up
Our Mattie, a 30-pound shepherd mix, had a play ball that looked like a geodesic sphere that she dearly loved and played with all day long. But when she got big, she chewed it up, like she did most of her toys. This one looked like it might survive and, yes, after a couple months, she has not made a dent in it. Also loves to carry it around, chase after it and so on. But the downside is that it is thick and heavy. If it weighed half as much and was a little more rounded, it would be a better play ball. But, of course, it would also get chewed up, so, there’s your trade-off.
