Sound is amazing
Love this shofar! This one doesn’t have a smell, I know it can be an issue with them, but not saying they all might not. Very durable and easy to blow! Easiest Ram’s horn I have blown so far! Sound is great and love the colors and look.

Perfect little shofar! (But my dog wants to eat it) ;)
For economy and space I got a 12-14" shofar. This is my first shofar and I am extremely pleased! Beautiful small horn, great quality, low odor, great sound. Excellent balance of aesthetics and economy. I've never blown a shofar before, or any horn, really, but it only took about 5 minutes to get a nice blast. Reliable sound will come with minimal practice. The odor is very, very faint, almost entirely unnoticeable like from my sheep's horn combs. If I didn't have to put the thing right up under my nose I would not notice a thing, and even then it's very slight. But it amused me that it got my dog's attention as soon as I opened the package in the car. He was all up in the envelope. Uh oh. Lol He's eaten a couple of combs so he likes horns. Another plus is it got here two days ahead of scheduled delivery, in time for Shabbat. I highly recommend shofars from this seller. And I'm looking forward to purchasing a larger shofar in the future! Shalom, y'all!

10/10 reccommend :)
Whenever I blow this, I get instantly hit with feeling of the Holy Spirit. Before it reached my house, my friend warned me that her kudu shofar that she got from Hallleluyah smelled really bad when it first arrived and that she had to wash it. I was super nervous and kind of praying as I opened mine. When I opened mine up and smelled it, it didn't smell that bad and was barely noticeable! It had a natural musk to it. It almost reminded me of kind of like a new book smell. After a while, and after playing it for a bit, I did start to notice a little bit of a stink, but it's not bad at all! It's definitely not stopping me from blowing it haha My friend also told me to take the tiniest bit of oil on my hands and lightly coat the outside of the horn with oil. My dad had apparently bought some anointing oil, and it came into the mail a few hours before my shofar arrived. I decided to lightly coat my shofar with that, and i prayed over it for a bit :) Before receiving my shofar in the mail, I had never blown a shofar before. This shofar is so easy to use lol It can blow all sorts of pitches hahaha so far it seems like my natural pitch right now is SUPER high, like, almost the sound you would hear when you try to whistle with grass haha and it can go decently low, too. Not super low, because mine is on the smaller size, but it has a decent range once you learn how to use it. I'm still learning hahaha It said hahaha I don't have any complaints about this shofar! It looks exactly like the picture.

"Sho-far... so good." (Apologies 🙄)
I struggled between the higher end and lower end horn. Slightly regret being a cheapskate, but not really sure how sounding a shofar works. May take some practice. Very nice cover bag accompanied it. Difficult to purse lips well enough to blow correctly. I believe scripture mentions one should not sound an indistinct note! We'll see!

PLEASE READ! I love mine!
FIRST of all, you have to understand how all of this works. I have seen so many negative reviews for things that are just misunderstood. These are horns from animals. They will NOT look like the stock photo. They come in different sizes and colors and shapes. The man blowing the rams horn in the photo is a horn from one animal and they don’t all look alike so please don’t expect the shofar to look like the photo. SECOND, there is a correct way of measuring which is from the mouthpiece, along the outside curvature to the opening. You do NOT measure in a straight light. A 12-18” horn could only measure 8” in a straight line from mouth to end of it has enough curve. Too many people leaving negative reviews because of size and measuring it wrong. THIRD, it comes from an animal. There are some times it does in fact have a smell. Have you ever bought your dog cow hooves to chew on? They smell terrible, especially when wet! My particular rams horn doesn’t really have a smell, but it was missing some of the extra pieces so Amazon sent another one and set up a return and when the next one came, it did have a smell. My advice is to not stick your nose down into it to see if it smells. Lol LAST, I’ve read so many reviews that say they don’t make a sound. So they are returning. I don’t know if they just don’t know how or are getting their first one or what but you CANNOT just pick up a shofar and blow air. It is a hollow horn. There will be no sound, just air. There is a technique to making a sound. It takes practice. You can probably find YouTube videos to help you learn. I can pick it up and blow it with no problem whatsoever but my husband cannot. He’s gotten better with practice but it takes him several failed attempts before he can make a sound and even then he is still needing to try to perfect it.Please do not send these back. I am really afraid that Amazon (not HalleluYAH) takes them back and resends them for the next order. I’ve seen so many people on here say they are returning. My first one (sold and shipped) from Amazon, I believe, was a return. Little tell tale signs. Some lint and little hairs (like pet hairs) on the black velvet bag, literature bent and wrinkled and was missing the cleaning brush. These are heavy duty horns. They are fine to wash. So it was washed up really well.I also purchased a kudu shofar from this same seller (but from Etsy, not Amazon because they were having a sale on Etsy for the exact same thing) and it is actually hand personalized and sent from Israel so it will take about a month to get it but I’m very excited.
