So very happy with this hat. It was perfect for the costume. Purchased for someone who has a very large head size and it fit perfectly. Great quality, I’d buy again.

The media could not be loaded. Searched for a long time to find just the right mad hatter hat for my husband’s costume this year. This is it.What I love: the overall quality. It is the perfect size. It has a sizing band on the inside of the hat so you can adjust it if you have a smaller head. It matches the Johnny Depp movie had exactly, including the little note on the side and coral colored sash. My husband thought it was great.What I don’t love: not much. I did have to stuff the top of the hat with newspaper in order to keep it the right shape on his head. That’s fine with me because I understand it had to be smashed down to fit in the shipping box to come to me. Just put some tissue paper newspaper in it and you’ll be fine. It does not come with any hair that attaches to it, but we purchased a wig separately which turned out to be great. Also, plan on ironing the sash that goes around the hat. Again, not a problem, and in the end really love the hat.Overall: a great deal would highly recommend

Perfect for the med hatter and alice in wonderland shot.

This hat is a nice quality fabric and looks exactly in person as it does in the photo. However, inspite of arriving in a HUGE box it was completely squashed flat and wrapped in plastic.I purchased mine in "Used-like new" condition for a lower price from Amazon Warehouse Deals. It reeked of cigarettes, I hung it in my bathroom in hopes of airing it out and getting rid of all the creases from being squashed. Sadly it just made my bathroom stink of cigarettes, so I hung it on the clothes line outside and it finally aired out after about 12 hours... now it smells like someone elses head, which for me is really gross and definitely does not count as "like new" condition.Peacock feather is made of printed posterboard (easily replaceable, you can buy real peacock tail feathers at almost any craftstore). the sides while thick do not stand up on their own, I reccommend sewing in some boning if you want it to stand up nicely.Still really great quality for a costume hat.

Nice addition for adult male party guests. Fabric nice and the hat itself was formed and fit well on an adult male.

I understand, at least in America, that I have a medium-large head. This hat, with it's sizing band undone was still quite too small. This sizes from child-nearly medium.But quality and build are good!
