Smoothing Curl Control
Loved this curl cream as it was light and perfect for air-dried styling. Did an amazing job smoothing my flyaways without weighing my hair down at the roots and smelled pretty and earthy without being too strong. So glad I tried this sample size because now I will be purchasing the full size product. I have 3b hair for reference.

Works great with the gel
I was originally using just the I Create Hold Gel. The gel wasn't giving me the definition and hold I wanted all on it's own so I decided to test the trial size of this curl cream. I didn't love it the first two times I applied it but once I figured out the right amount to use it has been wonderful! My hair is shoulder length and I use about a nickel size of it and a pump of the gel to scrunch into damp towel dried hair. It's been great for my fine 2C curls! They are bouncy and beautiful. Def looks a lot more moisturized. Great hold and definition, but not 100% great at helping with frizz. But I am happy with it since it's so natural.

I love this line but I found that the curl control left my hair feeling sticky. Smells great and affordable price.

Doesn’t control frizz well on its own for 3a/b curl pattern
Product is not too heavy and has a hint of a lemon/citrus smell that is pleasant. It is not very sticky, that can be a good or a bad thing depending on your preference. A huge plus for me is that is natural, that is why I purchased it.BUT, it doesn’t control frizz well and my hair looks like I put nothing in it. It may work better paired with another product. It didn’t make my hair any softer, etc. the curls are not more well defined either. Given the price point, I will not purchase again. If you are curious, purchase the travel size bottle and try it out first before spending more money.
