It's a nice small box. Powerful snap! I accidentally dropped the tester line and touched my finger when I auto reacted to grab it. Wow! The joint throbbed for a few hours after hahaha. I allowed a friend to pasture his horse in with mine. My horses never touched the fence after my very very old energizer quit working a few years back. I'm sure my guys told him the fence bites but after a few weeks, to my horror, this horse showed them the beauty of reaching for greener grass. Unfortunately my untouched fence was being brutally trashed. I guarantee the second he screamed, they ALL said I told you so. Arrived on time and as described. This is the AC plug in model. Using on several miles of electric fence. Installed inside the basement and used buried cable to connect out to fence near house. Unit has been very reliable and produces up to 9K volts. Enough to make me jerk strongly when I get into it, which is more often than I want. Weeds or small limbs only drop voltage down to 4K-5K volts. More than enough to remain effective. Very pleased and satisfied.
