Love this ice cream freezer! Freezes a lot better than the ones with a plastic tub.

Parts don’t match up!!
I think it would be a great freezer if the parts fit. In the “how to use” booklet it says to fit the electric motor end into the rectangular hole on the rim( as shown in figure 5!!!!!) It will not fit therefore the bucket sets crooked in the bucket! But since I already have my icecream mixture ready I’ll just have to see if it will freeze.Add on…….after my husband took it apart he finally got the motor to fit on the bucket!

Great machine!
We make the yummiest ice cream in this and I like the option to turn it manually.

I guess you get what you pay for
Virtually everything is make of plastic except the wood bucket (I think maybe the only non plastic piece may be the wire on the part which clamps the top part onto the bucket. and it arrives smelling highly toxic. Canister arrived with a big dent. Definitely wash before using it the first time, I doubt this will last more than a 1-3 years with the quality of construction. However, it was significantly cheaper than metal versions of the ice cream maker on the market, so maybe it's worthwhile in that sense.

Awesome, but loud.
Freakin awesome. My dad has one of these & it always made fantastic ice cream! So I decided to buy my own!It is loud tho. So be prepared to make it outdoors & not while your neighbors are sleeping. My only complaint is the wood texture on the outside sometimes bothers me to touch, but I have sensory issues. But I do my best to just ignore that.

HIghly Recommended and fun for the family!
A fun machine that has made ice cream making a joy! I refuse to buy ice cream in stores anymore due to the additives and wheat being used. This solved the problem and now we make fresh, healthier flavors.
