User Manual for Wrong Scanner
In my first use, the scanner finally worked and did what I bought it for. I chose it because of affordability and purpose. But, when I opened the box and read the user manual, it didn't match what I was seeing on the scanner. After watching some online videos found with a web search and experimenting with the buttons, I finally figured it out. Not a good start.

useless for nails in wood
i love the concept. I use it to scan wood for nails and screws and staples before running through planer. I had another metal detector which broke so got this one to replace that one... very disappointed. It will find some nails if they are right there at the surface and you are moving slowly. I do better just with my eyes at this point. I'll keep searching for a good detector. sad.
