As likely only reviewer here with actual purple hair, let me tell you about my purple haired doll.
Buying this doll was a pure exercise in vanity. I waited out a few releases of various versions before I finally decided to go with the original just to make sure I was getting the one closest to what I would actually to look like in public as given the opportunity to purchase the same pieces of clothing {obviously without the fangs and the goth makeup, but otherwise, spot on} I also don't like the look they've given the other Elizabats' face ups and hair particularly, but as a doll customizer I could have changed those – but why bother when the original gets so right :-)The boots are high-heeled and highly decorated and although they come slightly shorter than I would like below the knee if I were wearing them the amount of detail work is exquisite – so it's forgivable. I do love the height on the heel – technically platforms – as they're both wheelchair friendly {shoes low to the ground scrape open when powering a wheelchair by moving your feet and wear out faster} and great for those days I can walk as I walk better in extremely high heels than I do in flats {bunch of comorbidities going on here medically that if anyone's bored enough to want to understand I'll explain on request}.The main dress which has the front corset I own something similar to, however, on this doll it has a tendency to twist to the side, which is slightly annoying, but not a dealbreaker. The micro jacket which attaches the sleeves has a sleeves too short in my opinion, as they at least should've been extended down longer to the wrist stylistically if this was a real life outfit. I believe they chose that particular length to make it even with where the same lace started on the skirt, so for the doll, it works.I ended up pinning invisi Billy's hat Sideways with a bobby pin to complete her look, simply because I didn't like the bare head {I usually wear hats}. Part of the hat is tucked under, so it has a cute beret type effect that looks a bit oversized.I'll probably sweep the bangs to the site at some point too, considering I don't have any and never liked them when I did.Onto the most important part for collectors who redress or customize their dolls:This doll's hands share the exact same hand mold as the ever after high dolls – so all hand accessories should fit. This is not usually work for monster high dolls as their fingers are usually completely separate from each other or webbed together. My motivation for getting this particular doll, as already mentioned, is extremely different from most people's in all probability – but that doesn't mean she isn't a wonderful doll for anyone's collection.Other details have already been brought up by other people concerning the other accessories which I honestly wasn't interested in when I bought it – so I'm not using them and currently have them stored in a box with other unused accessories. On a final note, there is a long-standing issue with thin rooting of hair and occasional bald spots with monster high and ever after high dolls {which is why I learned to reroot doll hair in the first place}.This doll has absolutely no problems with her hair whatsoever in thickness that I've detected so far and only had a small part of her bangs fallout when brushed – very little product in the hair, although it is detectable and slightly crunchy and the bangs.

A Gothic Beauty
Elissabat is easily among the most beautiful of the monster high dolls. Her design is so unique and her outfit is to die for (pun not intended).Elissabat's hair is very soft and beautiful, and it's oh so fun to brush. It's a great mix of dark purple and black, which compliment each other beautifully. Her eyes are the same purple color and her skin is a nice shade of pale pink. Her outfit is a corset-style Gothic dress with lace and frills on the ends. The frills add a beautiful touch and her black boots are incredibly detailed with frills molded into the plastic as well. If you like changing clothes on the dolls, the shoes on this one are easier to put on and take off than boots on most of the other dolls (in my experience at least). The accessories this doll comes with are also very nice. They are a diary, a sliver award with a hand sticking out of it, and a small toy DVD case (you can even take the DVD in and out!). A brush and stand are also included, which is always a bonus. Monster High dolls should always come with stands, IMHO (though not all do).Elissabat is a great doll, so please, get her as soon as you can! Perfect for goths, collectors, and vampire fans. She's a Gothic beauty that you don't want to pass up.

Very cute :)
I bought this with the knowledge from the shop owner that the box was slightly damaged from the get-go, but the contents inside were fine; so I hold no ill will towards the shop. The only unfortunate thing was because it was an extremely warm day when it was delivered, her little journal booklet semi melted onto itself (It's made of plastic-paper), so I can't exactly open it without possibly tearing any of the text inside..Her accessories are beautiful, no damage to her clothes or boots, no damage to her accessories :) Small little mark on her face but can be cleaned up.Her hair has some glue seepage which started parting her bangs during that hot summer day, but that can be taken care of with washing and conditioning now and then. Overall I love her.

Almost perfect
I always hate to take away a star, and I really wish I didn't have to do it on this doll. I bought her to make a custom Sailor Saturn so I didn't have to reroot her. The price was great and she had the perfect hair style too, all I would have to do is trim her hair and I could see Sailor Saturn wearing her current dress even when not in her Sailor Scout Uniform. And I was totally happy when I got her, until I took her out of the package, the hair was ridiculously greasy. No problem though, I would just wash out the gel. There was just one problem. After repeated washings with all sorts of products from dish soap to shampoo I discovered it wasn't grease or gel, it was glue. The glue that held in her hair was leaking out and it made her hair roots stand out where her hair didn't look full at all. I could tell because her hair was tacky also.I'm still in denial, especially with the holidays and no time to do it, but I'm going to have to reroot this doll if I ever want to get rid of this problem. Even Goo Gone only fixes the hair while it remains in the hair, once it's washed or combed out, you can instantly feel the tacky gross feeling and the roots are obvious again. It's such a disappointment, but I'll get over it and now with Christmas over, I'll reroot it this year. The outfit, boots, and the many joints in the doll make up for a lot of the disappointment, not to mention the price I got her for. So I'll only take off one for the hair, plus I found some hair extensions that are almost the same color as Elissabat's original hair. I like the purple black for Hotaru.
