Used for balancing the weight of a long tele lens with mounted accessories on a ballhead/video head. Worked well.

This macro rail slides easily, but locks when you want it to be stationary. I do manual focus stacking with it, but the rack and pinion type rails are incrementally too fine - takes forever to screw them to the next stopping point. So, this rail is perfect . . . for me. I just scoot it along to each step. If you're expecting something fancy - this is very basic, but very sturdy. The Arca-Swiss type bracket is also very well made and locks positively.

Parto dagli aspetti positivi: la slitta è di buona fattura, i materiali sembrano ottimi e resistenti, e non ho notato giochi o movimenti una volta fissata la fotocamera, ma...NON È UNA SLITTA MICROMETRICA. Il movimento lungo la piastra avviene in modo del tutto manuale, bisogna ogni volta allargare il morsetto e muovere la fotocamera, aumentando a dismisura la probabilità di mosso. A differenza di quanto scritto in descrizione, sicuramente non è buona per macro e focus stacking, manca la classica vite che permette il movimento sulla piastra in modo preciso e diretto. Magari per un fotoamatore come me potrebbe anche andar bene, anche se ne dubito, valuterò dopo qualche prova se effettuare il reso
