Champion Sports Retro Soccer Ball

We bought two of these for our three year-old to practice and get comfortable with the soccer ball. She loves playing with it because we got the smaller size. It’s not intimidating. She plays with it all day long inside the house. We bought two now she has an interest in going to the soccer field. I definitely recommend this product. I like the material. The quality is excellent. The colors are very bright.

Now that everybody is into the soccer era kids want to purchase soccer balls left to right. I like this because it is old-school soccer ball. However, the material is not that great and it does look like it will break any day now. It’s just good to look at it not to play with it.

I never bought a ball online before. I didn't even read the reviews. Or the description. I thought googling the size to buy was all I needed to know. It was not. As the description that I did not read states, the ball comes deflated. The little was so excited about this ball that there were tears when he learned he had to wait 2 more days to play with the thing. It's 100000000% my fault, but I'm desperate to use this as an opportunity to try to help the next mom. We can't just pop up the street to the box store and grab a pump, so it was a big deal. If you're in the same boat, I surely hoping that you're reading this LOL

Hate that it came deflated. I do not have a pump to blow it up till my other order comes on Wednesday. Should state comes deflated!! I can’t rate, since it deflated we needed this for soccer practice on Monday. Frustrating!! This review has nothing to do with quality of the soccer ball.

Got here fast. This is replacement for high school player grandson's practice ball that got lost in overgrowth. Looks very sturdy. This is a standby for my JV team captain grandson (something of a small-town rec-league high-point star before that) for when he visits without a ball to practice with. He's seen it already and tried it out and he likes it. Hasn't used it much yet though. It's held air for 5 months without refill. I gave it a leak test immersing it in a tank of water and there were no bubbles. I dried it out un front of a space heater afterward. It's standing by for decent weather this spring when he visits.

I saw other people complaining the ball did not hold air for them. If you experience that within first couple days of receiving it, there is Free Return.With the assurance of Free Return, we bought/tried this, and it's working for us so far.In the 2~3 months of indoor use so far (winter season), the ball has held up still. Only 2 inflations so far: Day1 when we received the ball in oct 2023, and then a top-up in beginning of Jan 2024.While there is indeed a "you get what you pay for", and balls with synthetic surfaces like this one will eventually scratch and crack, but also keep in mind your child's age group and ball size.They might need a next ball size anyway after 1 or 1.5 years. If so, low cost would be a better way to go, not "a ball that last 10+ years".

This was the first regular soccer ball I've purchased. I got it for my six and eight year olds who were just becoming interested in soccer and it has held up great for about a year now!

This barely survived a season playing U13 soccer. The panels fell off and eventually all wore off. Avoid cheaply made items.
