2DS Case, EVA Waterproof Hard Shield Protective Carrying Case with Hand Wrist Strap and Double Zipper Compatible with Nintendo 2DS (Fuchsia)

I bought this for my son's 2DS, to keep his games and system together, and to protect during travel. The slots for the game cartridges are not wide enough. They are stretchy, so a cartridge can be put in, but there isn't enough space, so you can only use every other slot, and the cartridges fall out. They are maybe wide enough for Switch cartridges, but the case isn't for a Switch.

Have not used item yet as is a Christmas gift but wasted to speak to the odor others have written about. The case did smell when I took it out of the plastic. I can see why people would say it smelled like cigarettes, I thought mine had a heavy chemical smell. I let it air out for a few days and am hopeful the items my son puts inside won’t smell. If you don’t need to use it as soon as to get it, then for the price I say it’s worth a shot.

This is a nice protective case for a Nintendo 2ds. I did cut the straps that are meant to hold the system in place in the case because the silicone cover I use made the system just a bit too thick to fit well with the straps. If you use a Nintendo 2ds with no cover then these straps would have been perfect. Would purchase again.

The case works as advertised, it has a pouch for the charging cord and slots for a few games, but there's an awful chemical smell inside of it that I haven't been able to get rid of, and trust me, I've been trying. That, along with one of my zipper pulls already breaking, has led me to order a different one to replace this one.

Seems a little cheap but it works. Fits the 2DS great! You can’t fit the charging cord with it like my sons case tho.
