Otis Technology3-Gun Competition Cleaning Kit

The Otis cleaning products are great and a must for anyone who shoots, either recreationaly or professionally. Great little kit which can fit into any bag or on any rig. There is no reason every shooter out there has one, or for me 6 different kits from Otis.

A great kit!

Very good cleaning kit for 3 gun shooters. Nice to have everything you need in one single kit. I would have given this kit 5 stars but the size of the carrying case is tight and can be difficult to get all your stuff back into. Obviously small and portable is the idea for this kit and that part is nice, but don't plan on adding anything else to the case.This is an all around really nice cleaning kit.

Exceptional cleaning kit. The Otis patches are the best I've ever used and the brushes & other brass tools are nicely made. Perfect for field use too, because everything you need is contained in a portable package.

If you shoot 9mm, 45, 40cal, 223, and 12 gauge this kit will cover all your cleaning needs. The flexible rod system is the best thing I've used and all the little scrapers work like a charm. Great addition to any range bag or kit.

I "used" to use the rod and patch method for cleaning..... but after trying the Otis system I won't be going back! I feel the Otis system really excels on long barrels.. cleaning my over/under 32" barrels is an easy job and takes me 20 mins for a complete job. Yes the special round patch cloth is expensive but they are made for this system do an awesome job!

Read the manual before you go patching your barrel, as there's a specific way to do it. Otherwise it does everything you'd expect very well.

Good quality materials, but the concentration on making a top notch 3 gun cleaning kit that fits into your back pocket is odd. I purchased this because I wanted something for all three platforms, and I didn't want a lot of other junk. This seems to fit that mission, however I think it's own case could be better organized. It should probably come in a rectangular box, and be organized differently. As it stands I knew what I was buying, and overall I'm sure I'll be happy, but I expect I'll move the items to another container for easier access. The one disappointing thing about this kit is that the 5.56 chamber brush has an aluminum internal core where all the other brushes are brass or bronze. I'll probably end up replacing that brush to avoid the chance of damage. And, while the amazon price is good, you have to wonder if maybe a separate buy of rods and brushes would have been a hell of a lot cheaper.
