This is a high density foam roller. Why people are complaining that it's hard is beyond me. If it were compressible, it wouldn't work for workouts. If you want something soft, consider a firm pillow or bolster instead. This product is very firm, like hard styrofoam; it doesn't "give" at all. It's great for putting under or behind the shoulders to help with exercise positioning or for help with posture. The purple is a nice color. It's very durable. I'm completely satisfied with this product. It's exactly what I was looking for.

Takes some getting used to, but wow does it work! I use this for my back and hips and it really rolls out the kinks and stiffness. It does hurt when you first start, and the tighter your muscles are, the more it hurts. But if you stick with it, it doesn't take much before the pain of stiffness goes away. I use it for about 30 seconds 4-5 times a day when my back or hips get tight and I am better in 2-3 days. A lot cheaper than physical therapy or massage appointments and can be used in the comfort and privacy of your home. Was recommended to me by my brother who has several in multiple lengths. I have since purchased 2 in different lengths and recommended these to several friends and family.

A friend of mine recommended this product after hearing me needing something to stretch my back and dig into my upper back. I was shocked when she recommended this product because it seems way too simple and bulky. After trying it out for the first time I instantly understood why my friend advised me to purchase this. After working out, I lay on this back roller and it does the rest. I’ve noticed a significant reduction in the amount of back pains I’ve experienced since buying this. I wish I would’ve purchased this years ago and the value for money is second to none. You’ve gotta try this!

I had a pinched nerve which resolved after use rolling on my back. I have to say it was the most intense pain I’d ever experienced and the cost benefit is spectacular when compared to DR examinations X-ray….I’ve made using this a part of my daily fitness routine.

This has been such a lifesaver for me. After having shoulder surgery, it was hard to stretch my chest muscles. This made it so much easier and the 36 inch was perfect.

Physical therapist recommended I get this for shoulder therapy. This is Styrofoam and solid. Have used a few times and it works as it should.

This roller is tough, super lightweight and small enough to throw in your bag. It’s great for pin point rolling and much sturdier than the softer version I had in the past. The firmer density is a game changer.Love it so much, I want one in each size.
