I did not care for a bunch of polyester ones that I tried before purchasing this one. It does stretch out a tiny bit, but like a good pair of jeans, it goes back after washing.

I teach on the mountain 3 days a week in every condition imaginable. Love this balaclava! It breathes, doesn’t fog up my goggles, doesn’t add bulk under my helmet, keeps my face warm and dry and it’s so breathable! Perfect for ski days!

It's wool, so it keeps you warm when it's wet, and it doesn't stink. Necessity for any cold-weather skiing! Has held up fine for 1/2 a season.
