Used this to remount my hue light strip, works good and so far is stuck on well and not falling off which is was i was looking for.

Save your money, this stuff barely sticks to the Hue Lightstip backing never mind actually holding the stips up onto anything. It is so narrow compared to the standards Hue strips and the adhesive is pathetic.You'd be better off going out to the stores and buying some 3M or similar. I genuinely opted for the product as I presumed it was fit for purpose and have good adhesion. I was mistaken.

Arrived quickly and did as required.

This item should be taken off Amazon, it is that bad. The plastic backing that you remove to then sfick to something is impossible to remove; the tape just does not work. I would give 0 stars if I could after paying near £20 for this rubbish.

I cleaned up the lightstrip, made sure it was dry - applied this tape and stuck it in place.4 hours later it started to fall off. I stuck it back, applied and held lots of pressure. Couple of hours later it fell down again.I reapplied a new strip of this adhesive after removing the waste. It stayed up a few hours and fell off again.I was hoping it would be a solution for relocating hue strip lights but I just feel like I wasted my money here.Cant get a refund as nothing to return.

Do not buy.

I used this to restick my hue light strip after moving and it worked really well. It fits perfectly and it has been stuck for over a month now without falling.

It’s definitely sticky, so much so it’s hard to seperate the red backing from the other sticky side

Sticks and holds really well. It's a gummy substance, rather than just a tape. The separation tape (not sure what its really called, but the non-sticky tape that you peel off), is a bit of a pain to find the edge of so it should be a little wider than that sticky itself to make it easier to grab. I had to use a thin blade to find an edge. Overall, good stuff.
