Alas, I have now reached the day I thought would happen. Broke whilst being washed. This was a replacement for my initial order that broke after a few days. We had a similar one for about 30-odd years that friends brought as a souvenir from the USA which was such good quality! It only broke because I dropped it onto a stone floor!!! Don't know why people sell rubbish like this. Don't know why people, myself included, buy rubbish like this. It looks good , but that's where it ends. Bad mistake I won't make again. This is a functional item, used when cooking, not an ornament. If you want an ornament then buy. If it's functional - avoid.

I bought this spoon rest for my daughter.I just loved the design and colours.It is ceramic, which is what first drew me to it. My daughter was pleased, as she wanted something a bit different and pretty, which is what she got.
