The product seems high quality. There is a spoon that comes with it. If you remove the spoon & that inner part of the packaging holding the spoon, you are left with one simple lid that pulls of & on very easily without any powder mess at all. There is also no screwing the lid on, which makes it so easy (at least this is how the large container works ). Do not try to keep the inner lid that initially holds the spoon- that is for packaging purposes- not a permanent way to hold the spoon - that is just the way I see it! If you try to use that inner lid everyday that the spoon came in, I think you would be hassled, & the packaging works perfect without it & much better without it. The powder is very fine, it mixes nicely & I have not noticed any overwhelming fishy smell.

High quality! I have tried many collagen products and this one is superior to all. I have been mixing it into my coffee each morning for a few weeks now and already see the benefits. My nails are stronger and my skin and hair feel better. Plus, the scop that it comes with is cute and the powder is very easy to mix. Looking forward to continuing to take this supplement!

Marine collagen is generally more expensive than bovine collagen, but in the grand scheme of things, they both work pretty much the same - with the exception that marine collagen is acceptable for pescatarians.Type I collagen is ideal for skin, nails, hair and is also used in tendons.Type II collagen is primarily found in cartilage. It can help improve joint pain.Type III collagen is found in muscles, blood vessels and organs.Type IV collagen is a foundational or "scaffolding" protein that aids in cellular health.That this contains four types of collagen is wonderful. I've rarely seen a marine only collagen with four types. Shore Magic claims that the pieces are smaller, leading to a higher rate of absorption and better results. It will take weeks to truly evaluate its efficacy vs. other collagen, and I'll update this if I notice some sort of miraculous change over the 6 weeks that this canister will last. I can say that the powder is much finer than I usually get with collagen. It's the consistency of corn starch. Bonus - it doesn't smell! Sometimes collagen, especially marine collagen, has a foul smell to it. This smells like nothing and mixes well with my morning shake.The canister itself is made entirely of cardboard and wrapped in a plastic safety seal. After removing the first seal, there's another plastic seal under the lid. During transit, some of the fine powder worked its way under the seal and it made a slight mess when I removed it.The inner lid says that you should lift it gently to avoid the puff. Opening the canister didn't release any dust, but putting the lid back on caused a fine spray of collagen to go everywhere.I appreciate the spoon. It's built into the lid, so I don't have to fish around for it, and it folds so it fits nicely. It's made of metal.I like the presentation. I don't like how collagen gets everywhere when I close the container. Also, since the collagen is very fine, it does stick to the spoon a little bit. Since the spoon is stored on top, it needs cleaned off after each use.Even though I really like the product, I'm not sure why it's $140. There are multi-collagen mixes available for less than $25/lb. Those may have a lower rate of absorption, since they're larger particles - but even with Shore Magic's higher rate of absorption, unless it's over 5x better it shouldn't cost over 5x as much.I'll update this in the event that I experience some ridiculous improvement in hair/skin/nails/muscles/joints, but for now it's a solid 4 stars.

Great look, Great taste, and mixes easily. It comes with an awesome unfolding copper scoop that is reusable. My kids got sick at school and made sure to keep taking this everyday and I only got a tiny bit sick. Not sure if it was a coincidence or not. But since I usually get what they get and didn't I call that a win. I haven't noticed an effect on hair skin or nails but that might be because I was already taking collagen regularly. This is a 6 week supply so I think that helps justify the cost and its good quality. Unfortunately, I do not feel justified getting this again. However, if you are looking for something that works this is definitely a go to.

I tried this product, and I was not very impressed. I did not notice any change in my skin elasticity. The flavor was ok, but it was a little powdery.
