Got a set of these after a bird hit my drivers side hood latch and shattered it! It was COLD out and the bird was BIG! Got these and put them on and it was a no brainer! Look good, fit solid and tight and easy to install. Highly recommend for any JK!

Great upgrade from stock hinges. No more worrying about if this is the time my hood is gonna fly up when meeting a semi. Came with most of the tools needed to install. Install was a little difficult getting the nuts started on the inside of the fender, otherwise pretty easy.

Too easy to break when tightening the screw so had to order another set bc one broke 🤦‍♀️

Looks cool and was easy to install however after a year the center pin that the hinge rotates on fell out and the hood could have opened on the freeway. Luckily my wife saw the hood rattling and got off the freeway in time. The OEM design has rotation pin encased preventing the pin from falling out.

I love that this product is made of metal instead of plastic. It fit perfectly. The instructions for the plastic tabs were a little confusing so I had to look up pictures to see how they were placed. They come with 4 plastic tabs, 2 of them are spares in case one breaks. But they latch with no issues. I love the look of these.

Had a problem with the first set I received where the flag was easily scratched off and were difficult to latch. A replacement set was sent and I couldn't be happier! These latch properly and the flag has not scratched not rubbed off as the previous set did. Looks great, easy install and wonderful customer service!

I was very happy with my latchez look n the light weight was a bonus. Then after I'd had them a couple months then the trouble with only one on the right side latch started to fail. First the the cheap little plastic piece that holds the upper locking mechanism secure broke. After that the middle swivel pin that attaches the lower latch to the upper came out somewhere in the highway. I waited to write this review to be sure they would hold up but this one side has failed miserably. The left side or driver's side is still holding its on but I'm constantly having issues with the right side. I used a panhead bolt in place of the screw in pin since it's difficult to find one. I wanted to contact the company but I have not. All I've got to say is I'm very disappointed in my right side latch. If you do purchase these make sure to double check all the factory installed hardware for tightness. They do come with extra plastic pieces to hold the latch in place n keep down some of the vibration. Make sure you put the extra 2 you get somewhere you can find them cause I still can't remember where I put mine n if you're ever in a hardware dept look for a couple of the hinge locking bolts n buy them if you find them but don't get greedy leave a few for the rest of us. Im still looking for one everytime I visit a hardware store. Very disappointed! So much so I put it on here 3 times. I gave the product 3 stars because one of the two is still functioning properly n they do look nice but if I had it to do over now I'd probably buy them from another supplier n manufacturer. 😎😎
