The best there is!
Absolute top quality. Finding a good white chocolate usually means choosing which problem you’re willing to accept as a trade-off: if the consistency is good then it’s overly sweet. If it’s not too sweet then the fat will puddle on top when you melt it. If it’s not cloyingly sweet and doesn’t have a greasy/slimy mouth feel, then it probably has some “off” flavor like vanilla that’s boozy or something rancid. Not this. Yes, they’re pricey. But if you’re going to do anything with white chocolate, the quality REALLY MATTERS. Most so-called “white chocolate” doesn’t contain any cocoa butter at all. The first recipe I tried this in was a white chocolate Italian meringue buttercream from Rose Levy’s Cake Bible, which I’ve previously made with Lindt, Guittard or even Baker’s white for over 20 years. Baker’s was okay, the Lindt and Guittard versions come out very good, almost great. But I’ve never spent this much (pack of five bars for ~$5/bar). In fact, I stopped making buttercream with white chocolate altogether a few years back because it I figured most people couldn’t readily identify the flavor of white chocolate anyway, and substituting a glug of Grand Marnier is a foolproof crowd pleaser. But a close friend requested a cake with white chocolate filling and I obliged. I couldn’t find Lindt white locally or on Amazon so I got this. A nibble before I started did not impress me that much, but after beating it melted into the buttercream the subtle fragrance of the cocoa butter was incredible. The flavor was stellar and needed no embellishments (restaurants often use raspberries with white chocolate). When I say “buttercream” I am referring to the classic—egg whites beaten then cooked with near-boiling sugar syrup and finished with high quality unsalted butter. The white chocolate is barely melted and whipped in last.Yes, it’s DEFINITELY worth the higher cost.

So good, they ruined all other white chocolates for me
These are a little expensive, but considering my struggle to find good white chocolate in the United States, they are worth it, and when you consider the price of artisanal chocolate (which are expensive and would be a waste of money if you don't like the flavor after all), these are relatively affordable. I didn't realize how good they were until I bought other white chocolates, some new and some my old favorites. Compared to this one, they were all too sweet and flavorless.Of course, food and flavor preferences are subjective, I can only speak for myself. Those who are used to or prefers super sweet chocolate may not like it. That said, I didn't think it was not sweet enough when I first tried it, I just began to notice other bars were much sweeter after I got used to this one.My only complaint is the individual pieces/divisions are too large, kinda encouraging you to finish them faster. I mean, you can break one whole bar into 10 large pieces. I wish it was at least 12 pieces (of slightly smaller size) so I would not consume so much chocolate in one go.

Not as Good as Green & Black's
This white chocolate has an intense cheesy-bourbon flavor that is pretty good. However, there is something about this bar that my body doesn't like, maybe the bourbon? I get a mild nausea from it.Taste-wise, these bars are heartier than the Green & Black's white chocolate bars, but don't have the smooth taste and mouth feel that the G&B white chocolate does.Unfortunately the Green & Black's white chocolate is not as good as it used to be when it was made in Italy with Cognac.

Delicious but Expensive
I love white chocolate, and this chocolate is really really good. It is perfectly creamy and tempered (nice snap), with a delightful vanilla note. However, if you are also a white chocolate connoisseur on a budget, I would recommend buying Callebaut’s white chocolate (the bulk bag) to get more bang for your buck without sacrificing flavour!Of course, if you don’t eat a lot of chocolate, and/or are trying to portion control, this tasting bar is great! It only makes sense if you are only in the market to buy one bar of chocolate.

Not as good as I'd hoped.
After seeing all the glowing reviews I thought this white chocolate was going to be great. I was looking forward to it. As soon as it arrived I opened it up and tried a bar all to myself without sharing it with my wife. After eating a whole bar and a couple pieces of another bar I've decided it's not as good as Lindt white chocolate. It's not as rich or creamy. Milkboy is good as it's not too sweet however for me it's lacking some flavor that Lindt brings to your taste buds. Lindt has me craving more, this stuff not so much.
