Good mounts/ but beware
I wanted these for my 3000s, wanted to place them in the corner and have them tilted down and inward toward the center of the room. These mounts will only point down on 1 axis, and turn to the side. In order to even this out I had to mount the bracket on an angle, so that the speaker was turned down and in. I know its hard to visualize, but if you want these to move in all directions, you've got to plan your mounting accordingly. Otherwise good, strong, and attractive mounts

quality built and astheticks
was very happy with this product . the price I though was a bit high considering you have to buy them individually. Some have mentioned that the cover plate didn't wor at hard angles but I didn't have any issues because my tilt and toeing in was minimal.

Too expensive for cheap speakers
Congratulations, you have just purchased a pair of Q Acoustics 3020 speakers. You read the wirecutter review, and took the plunge. Now you need to mount them to your wall. If you are like me, you are probably thinking "Hey Jeff, does it make sense to spend nearly $60 for a pair of wall mounts for speakers that cost under $300??"The answer is no.Get these instead for $25 a pair, they are excellent. And with one tiny modification, you will have a very secure mount:VideoSecu One Pair of Side Clamping Bookshelf Speaker Mounting Bracket with Swivel and Tilt for Large Surrounding Sound Speakers MS56B 3LHThe Q 3020 speaker has an M8 threaded bolt hole in the bottom. The above mentioned wall mounts have a tiny little hole to insert an anchor screw. All you need to do is to drill out that small hole with a 5/16" drill bit, and then screw in an M8-1.25X25mm bolt (with washer). 2 M8 bolts and washers were like $1.50 at Home Depot.I also used some velcro straps to secure the front, but they are not needed. When you tighten down the M8 bolt...it is very secure.See attached pictures.

Can't do it
So they want us to spend $56 extra to mount the speakers?? These things are way over priced. Especially considering you can go to your local hardware store and by a sturdy L-bracket and a screw for 5 dollars. And if you need the speaker to be pointed a bit downward you could just put the L-bracket in a vise and change its angle. For example-https://www.amazon.com/Alise-Stainless-Steel-Brackets-J5207B-4P/dp/B07DKGG7MC/ref=sr_1_17?keywords=l%2Bbracket%2Bblack&qid=1569074151&sr=8-17&th=1

Easy to install, tons of screw holes to use. Bottom does not fit if you turn the speakers.
This should be 5 star, the build quality is GREAT, it looks great and has TONS of holes to mount. It loses a star only because the bottom cover does not actually fit if you are turning the speaker to a side. I did love how easy it was to install, and do kind of wish that it would have a dynamat on the back of the mount so reduce any vibration against a flat wall.
